Ray's was recommended to us by people sitting at an adjacent table where we had dinner the night before. When they found out we were heading to Canyonlands National Park from Capitol Reef National Park, they said we had to stop at Ray's for a burger. We planned our route so we would be there shortly after they opened, and... More

I love Ray's - great food & great people! My favorite place to sop on my way to/from Moab. Great selection of beers and there is nothing better than a bacon cheeseburger after a weekend of mtb'ing.

We prefer to hang out with the locals when traveling and Ray's definitely had that feel to it. Nothing fancy. Fast, friendly, service and decent food. It's true that the menu is rather limited but the burgers and fries really hit the spot- as did the craft beer. Green River doesn't really have a lot to offer but if you're... More

It has been over 20 years since I've stopped at Ray's after canoeing the Green River through Desolation and Grey Canyons. Like those canyons, Ray's seems changeless. I had their Cheeseburger and it was big, meaty, and tasty. A half-pound of succulent ground cow served on a burger-worthy bun and all I needed was the pickles, onions, catsup and mustard... More

Had a great burger and beer at Ray's. My son, who has expensive taste, went with the Rib Eye. The steak was not a very good cut, but the burger was excellent. It has a bar like atmosphere but kids are welcome. A great place for dinner in Green River.

Since it was late and I was hungry, I decided a quick veggie burger and fries would be perfect and it was. They didn't carry malt vinegar for the fries so I'm assuming it's a regional thing. My burger was delish, I drank water, the service was as it should be. It was bright with I'm assuming a license for... More

We have been stopping at Ray's Tavern for over 25 years. Our frequent travels through the southeastern Utah deserts are always planned around being in Green River during a meal time. The same staff members seem to always be there greeting us with a friendly nod of recognition no matter how busy they become. Be prepared to share a table... More

Passing through Green River I was told by a friend to have a burger at Ray's. I did and was not sorry. Friendly staff and quick service. I like it a lot. The fries were hot and gooood.

On a recommendation from out hotel clerk, we had dinner at Ray's. The place was packed. I had a hamburger and she a cheeseburger. We could tell the beef had never been frozen, just fresh meat, perfectly grilled. The fries were hand-cut, some with the skin still on. I also had a local amber brew which was as good as... More
