After traveling for 8 hours my husband and I stopped for the night and went to this restaurant. We asked for a recommendation at the front desk of our motel. Just a stone's throw away, this was an unexpected gem. We were seated next to a large window with a lovely view of the river. We ordered the Indian flatbread... More

After passing through Green River for years without stopping, my wife and I stopped at this restaurant after reading about it in an alumni magazine. We both ordered different variations of the Navajo taco. Both were enough for two meals. Service was timely and friendly. We enjoyed watching the sun set over the Green River. We also ordered two T... More

The steak and ribs were tender and flavorful. Well seasoned. Wanted to like the fries but not a lot of flavor. Great views of river. Not local but wIll definitely be back.

Yes, yes, YES!!! This spot was exactly what we needed during our drive. Great selection of food here - and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The Navajo fry bread was the best I've had since it was made for me by a Navajo family. SO tasty.... I had a frybread salad which was filling and extremely flavorful! Friendly staff and... More

The food is very good usually. We don't eat there in the evening anymore because the evening crew can be crabby. Not all of them, just a few. It is embarrassing to bring friends when the bus girl and server make everyone uncomfortable. The food was great and usually we enjoy this place more for breakfast, the staff seems happier... More

What a great surprise! We always stay in Green River at the River Terrace on the way west to National Parks, but had never eaten at the Tamarisk. Locals eat here, and the savviest of truck drivers. Right on the River, with nice views. Very modest pricing for inventive quality. We made a special effort to dine 2 days in... More

We eat here once or twice a year on our way to and from Colorado . The food and service is very good. yesterday we had a small burger, that was excellent. A salad bar side came with the meal. It was inexpensive and very good.

This restaurant has a new owner from last year& new decor. What a very nice surprise! Menu is very broad (Indian fry bread is great), food is very good as is service (mandi did a great job). They even locally source the house wine which is a nice surprise. Highly recommend a visit if you're in town.

We enjoy this restaurant and eat here often as we pass thru Green River. Good food, fresh made. The breakfast we got was included with our room. Anything off of the menu! Perfect.

Thought we'd be safe picking the #2 TripAdvisor pick. Being 9th from last is more relevant. We stopped in for a family lunch and enjoyed watching ice floating down the river. Once the food arrived, though, our experience went down hill. Soggy, tastless fries, mushy corndog, and bland nachos—generally sucky food. A little more competition in town is what the... More
