I had diabla shrimp, it was spicy and hot just the way I like it! The shrimp were large and my meal came with plenty of tortillas to wipe up the sauce. I did not care for the salsa which tasted a bit like shrimp...More

The 5 of us had a very bad experience with burgers or Mexican food as the cook put by far too much salt. It was difficult to finish our plate. We ll certainly never stop here again. Also, The waiter was not very accommodating, shy....More

Nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but once we were inside we found good service and really tasty Mexican food. We had plenty to eat for lunch and it was fairly priced. We would eat there again.

Don't be frightened by the run-down look, and insides of La Veracruzana. The looks can be deceiving, and this is an example of that. Food is delicious, and that's what really matters. Try the meal that is listed as 'to be shared by 2' in...More

This diamond-in-the-rough was a pleasant surprise, and a great meal. Excellent chilies rellenos and carnita tacos, all made from scratch!! ...and nice waiter, too.

Stopped here on the way to Moab from Salt Lake City. Great little hole in the wall place off the highway. Food was good, inexpensive and fast.

We ate here early on a Sunday evening. As one reviewer noted, the restaurant is a bit funky, but the meal was terrific. We had tamales and broiled chicken, both were very good as was the salsa. Service was just fine.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The town is really run down and seems to becoming a "ghost town." This place is in the old Ben's Cafe, the place is well worn but neat and clean. The service was good and the food was...More
