A great stop when in Green River. I have eaten there twice and both times were very good. The beef is super tender and delicious and the chili relleno was homemade magic!

We are pretty picky about our food, and the beans were awesome, tasted like my own home made beans! We had tamale, carnitas and one of the fried chicken meals all were fabulous! I would go here again and recommend this place for dinner to...More

Family owned authentic Mexican food. Was recommended by the lady at the motel, and she was right. Very good, very authentic. Decor is not kitschy Mexican, as it used to be a diner and still has a counter with stools! Try the homemade tamales!

This was, with out a doubt the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. I thought I was eating horse meat. About an hour after I ate, I threw up. Avoid this restaurant.

Other travelers recommended the food truck at the old Shell station. I would go with that recommendation. This restaurant was ok. Salsa very mild. Little flavor to my Chile verde. My husband said his relleno was good. We chose this place because we could get...More

Simple and excellent mexican food. The prices are fairly cheap and yet the food tastes good. A nice place to stop on your roadtrip.

Ate here twice, 1 week apart, going and coming on a road trip. Outside just so-so, but very attractive and clean inside, all recently remodeled, though restrooms are behind the remodel curve at present. Initially tried it because fast food places near I70 were all...More

Found this gem on the advisor. After reading reviews that said “No Frills” we stopped and it is a tired building but as promised, the food was great. Beats fast food burgers hands down. Prompt, courteous and flavorful. Nice find.

No frills restaurant but the food was delicious. Recommend the enchilada plate with your choice of beef, chicken or cheese in any combination. Beer menu but no wine. Fast, friendly service and very reasonable prices. We usually eat at the Tamerind, but this time we...More
