This is very fun, family friendly restaurant. The rolls were burned but the ribs were fabulous. By far the best I have ever had! Fun gift shop in the front.

We went with a large group for lunch. We told the server we were in a hurry and they got us in and out in an hour. The food was good (for the Bear Lake area). I had blackened chicken and it was delicious. I would eat here again.

Our rolls were burnt. The chef salad was very good and was good sized for a half order. The steak and cheese sandwich was okay. The steak was a little tough and shrimp a little over cooked. We would go there again.

We had lunch at this lovely restaurant, the food is delicious and fresh the service is awesome. Milk shakes and deserts are a must !! I just wish they had a window so we could see a bit of the outdoors. Everything is nice and clean plus a cute gift shop.

It is such a shame to spend good money on mediocre food and service. It may have all started when the 3 of us were seated at a ginormous booth in an extremely brightly lit dining area, it didn't get any better.

My wife and I had to make a quick overnight trip to Bear Lake in Utah. We stopped by the Bear Trapper to have breakfast. They have a small breakfast menu but really for breakfast what more do you need? we had the two eggs any stile with pancake and your choose of beacon, ham or sausage. $6.99 the food... More

It's much better than the fast food places that was open during the time of year we were there (I've never seen so few people in town!). I'd go again.

Maybe I should have ordered something other than the soup and salad, but it may have been the worst of both I've ever had! The waitress was darling and did her best, but the garden salad was iceberg lettuce, two grape tomatoes and an odd pile of warm chicken on top. Maybe they threw the chicken on there to be... More

Good service, ok atmosphere, ok food. We had the homemade rolls & jam, coconut shrimp appetizer, and for entrées; Prime Rib & Salmon. It was all ok- not really any flavor, or anything special. We both ate about half of our dinner- and moved on. We did not think about this place again. I would try a different restaurant next... More

Our first time to visit Bear Lake. The Bear Trapper was recommended to us by the people who worked the front desk at our resort. The location is good and easy in and out. The seating was spacious and the atmosphere rustic and pleasant. The service was great and timely. The portions large and the flavor on target. Everyone throughly... More
