We tried something different our last night in Escalante. After a great hike in Capiol Reef National Park, we needed a good burger and Cowboy Blues served it up. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Stopped by one evening. The place was not busy. My husband ate the steak and o had the burrito. Both were good. The dinner salad served was great. My burrito was so big and could be shared. They serve liquor and beer.

Basic accommodation but really good service and excellent food. Beer is good and not expensive. The wife had a couple of blue margaritas, which seemed to please her. My rib-eye steak was perfect. Salad was really crisp and freshly made. Not a jacket and tie venue, but great when you're in your jeans and want a no nonsense dinner. Highly... More

Have been at this place before and the food was O.K. Nothing special. So we decided to go for a burger....We ordered medium, it came rare, we sent it back to the kitchen. I guess the cook tried not hard enough, mine was stil raw, my husbands a bit better. How difficult can it be, cook a burger if you... More

Funky place, but we enjoyed the Wild West, cowboy character. The menu is fairly limited but reasonable. The night we stopped in they had live music. This is not a tourist driven town, but if you want a more authentic experience away from the parks and the crowds, give escalante a try!

This is one of 3 or 4 casual eateries in Escalante. We wanted to vary up our eating on the three nights we were in town so we tried this place one night. It was pretty disappointing. The waitress was overly friendly and urged us to try the expensive rib eye. We decided to splurge on it, but it was... More

There aren't a whole lot of options in this town. We picked this one somewhat randomly based on a nice review in Yelp. We weren't sorry. The food was very good. We had brisket, pork loin (special) with pineapple/habanero sauce, a huge burrito and some jalapeno poppers with bacon and a raspberry cream cheese sauce. We were happy with everything... More

We are there everyday! They even had a guy singing country! The people were very nice and made us feel like home! Food was great!

If home cooking and country music is your thing this is the place. I was on a tour and went here. I'm more of a city girl, but if you want to see the country, this is a good night

Awesome food and awesome service. Read the reviews and most will agree! (Except of course for the people from California!)
