This little hidden gem is one you won't want to miss. Embedded in the side of the mountain is this awesome, funky, coffee shop. They serve coffee, sandwiches, bagels, etc. $$, the building architecture had me fascinated and the view was impeccable. If you are out on highway 12, be sure to stop in for a visit, gave a coffee... So we were driving along Highway 12 on our way to the Escalante River Bridge and out of nowhere pops up this coffee shop, or should I say Koffee Shop. You can't see a building, no structure, no nothing. All you see is a sign. So we pull in just to see what it about. Talk about stumbling onto a... More

We stopped to have an ice tea and awed at the peaceful atmosphere. They pastries, a lemon bar and blueberry scone, were outstanding. We could have sat there all day. The cafe is built so each table has a view plus there is an outside shaded patio. We can't wait to return. The also rent out rooms with the same... More

We stopped here after our hike to Lower Calf Creek falls. The blended lattes and shared tiramisu was the perfect end to a great day. The building is so beautiful with a great view. Very relaxing.

The place is really unique. To get a really good cup of latte or cappuccino in a such cute environment and with such a great view is top notch. They really love this place. A sophisticated bistro in the middle of the road. Pastry, nice art, good coffee, amazing views. An ideal stop.

Found this stop, between Torrey and Bryce Utah. Middle of nowhere, but very impressive. My wife loved the views and coffee. Just a quick stop and we were on our way to Bryce Canyon National Park. I'd recommend stopping, for the vistas and drinks.

Our daughter told hubby and I that we Must visit Kiva when in Escalante. So glad we went--we treated friends to lunch. I had I think the pork chili verde--very good. It can be spicy, but they make it mild, which I prefer. The atmosphere is cool, peaceful with mellow music in the background. (A very interesting bluegrass group called... More
