The portions are generous and the service is good. Outdoor seating is available (and take-out). We stumbled upon this place and we're glad we did. The salad with avocado and spiced chicken was enormous (I had to share it). The flan was good. I also...loved the lavender lemonade--very refreshing.More

Susan Robison 9:50 AM (0 minutes ago) to me When we travel, we like to eat places that make memories rather than traditional chain eateries. This is certainly that. It’s a cute food truck type set up with a nice outdoor covered deck for outdoor...dining. I was so looking forward to this place. We both got chicken chimichangas and they were great we also got the chips and dips. The chips surprised me as they looked different than anything else I’d ever seen, but they were delicious. The bean dip was fabulous that came with it. So. The food was awesome and memorable. Here is where it went wrong. When you go to pay, she asks you how much tip you want to leave. I said a number, which was 15%, and she repeated the number back to me. Then, after she ran our card she asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes and she looked very sheepish which of course made me want to double check that receipt. She had added a bigger tip than I had indicated, even though there was no chance that she misunderstood me. I’m the non confrontational type so I didn’t throw a fit I just looked at the receipt and then at her so she knew I saw it. I wasn’t going to let it ruin my trip, but it irked me to the point that although I loved the food and we will be spending a great deal of time there in the future, we won’t be eating there again. This reflected on my experience in general, but it’s not a reflection on the food itself which was great. Just go in knowing this may happen and maybe consider it part of the experience.More

What a great place to stop for food! My wife and I were exploring Scenic Byway 12 and stopped for lunch. We were not disappointed. Both of our meals were excellent. I highly recommend stopping for a meal.

We were staying in a lodge across the street from Georgie’s and went here for dinner. The food was delicious and the service delightful. If ever in the area again we will definitely go to Georgie’s.

This was one of the best meals during our 3 weeks to 6 national parks! We had unloaded in our wonderful suite at the Entrada Escalante Lodge and went in search of dinner. There was Georgie's across the road, beckoning. Not knowing quite what to...expect, we got quesadillas, guacamole and flan in Styrofoam boxes, and walked back to our suite. We were blown away by how fresh and tasty and substantive it all was! We planned to get more rice and flan the next night to go with our leftovers, and were crushed when they were closed because it's so quiet on fourth of July weekend. We'll just have to go back.More

Best torta I've ever had. Period. End stop. Food is excellent. What else is there to say? Sit outside in God's good country. Enjoy.

Ate lunch here one day. I had the pork burrito and my husband had the chicken enchilada plate which he said was excellent. Portions are good and salsa is hot. It's in a big orange trailer, so it's hard to miss.

I had the very BEST Garlic Chicken Salad EVER at Georgie's Outdoor Mexican Cafe. This woman owned business used only the freshest vegetables and salad greens topped with this just cooked garlic chicken with sesame seeds. Even though we had places to and things to...see ... I stopped and savored every bit. My husband had their Chicken Enchiladas ...and was amazed at the quantity of chicken in the enchilada. This is a little place .. the is outstanding.More

We had a great lunch here after a strenuous hike. I had the fish tacos with rice and beans and we shared an order of chips with guacamole. So much food we couldn’t quite finish! The strawberry lemonade was also very good. I would definitely...return if in the area. Check opening times before you go. I’m not sure Trip advisor is current on this one.More

I had the blue corn chicken enchiladas...delish! They even make their own tortilla chips. I will be back, and I look forward to trying something else on the menu!
