You just can't beat this place. You will never find another place like this anywhere. Old western atmosphere (The old bar is also still there) . Get breakfast and coffee for 6 bucks. 3 biscuits and gravy for 3. If you want to wear hat...and boots and wear your side arm, no one cares.More
All homemade!! All delicious!! Example of daily special: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, salad, homemade soup and dessert!! all for less than a McDonald's meal! Serves breakfast and lunch only. Breakfast is yummy and generous servings!
This is the gathering place for the locals....Friendly and welcoming.More
Great home cooked meals. We had breakfast, while being seranaded by a talented woman with county western songs. Very very reasonable prices. Friendly and funny staff. Wonderful experience overall. They don’t take any credit cards, so bring cash. There is an ATM at the gas...station up the street if your short.More
Stopped by for lunch with 7 cycling buddies after riding the 32 mile round trip up to Big Rock Candy Mountain. We've done the ride before but this was our first visit to the Cowboy Corral. The positive reviews on Trip Advisor and other sites...convinced us to check it out.
Service was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a variety of burgers, chicken, fries, soup etc and all were home made and well prepared. The two guitarists and pianist playing country music in the back were an unexpected treat as well.
We'll be back.More
We were on a off road trip and stopped for lunch, what a surprise!
They had a buffet for $7 it was excellent, homemade rolls, real mashed potatoes, roast beef that was so tender it melted in your mouth.
They had a country western band...playing that was excellent.
The place is not fancy, but is clean a true gem in a small town.More
If you want great food and a friendly atmosphere this is the place for you. It's like stepping back in time, like the good old days with home cook meals and the cook coming out to make sure you are happy with your meal. His...wife, the waitress, memorized your order as each person at your table tells her your order.More
This is country home cooking like you'd get from mom. Home cooked meals, no processing, just good country food. Sometimes they have an old country band playing. Place is retro, like something you'd find from an era long past. Owners are kind and attentive and...genuinely care about their patrons.More
Stopped in Elsinore / Monroe to buy fuel--my friend was hungry and walked into Dairy Queen--i asked for a non-chain restaurant, and barely found the Cowboy Coral--this is an authentic western restaurant--owner is there, great old American band--everyone incredibly nice--and just beyond belief great burger--to...rival Ron's hamburger in Oklahoma and the Flat Burger and the Riverside lunch in Charlottesville...totally great experience--if you are on I-70 go to the Cowboy Coral--you will be really happy. Just a bit better than Milt's Stop and Eat in Moab, utah...this place is so great. Have Fun.More
