Found this place on trip advisor and we're not disappointed. Has a great menu and a full bar. The halibut fish and chips we're very good and the house salad with the balsamic dressing was excellent.

We hit the Ridge Cafe up for breakfast before we left Utah. It was a great little breakfast joint not far from our friend's house in Draper, UT. It was good food - good coffee. The view from the patio didn't hurt. Perfect weather to...eat outdoors too. The behind the counter service folks seemed less than enthusiastic to serve.More

Going up the hill to the top for the Ridge is a great experience in itself! The homes and surrounding areas are just spectacular and worth half hour drive from SLC to get there. The cafe's outside seating is the first thing you see and...at the right time and day there is entertainment for you. You order from the menu at the front desk area and get a large spoon to place on your table for a server to bring your food choices to you. The selection of entrees, sandwiches, salads and desserts should satisfy your hunger pains or just have a drink and a couple of scoops of Gelato in a cup or waffle cone for your drive home. If you go late enough you can see a fantastic sunset and the view of the cities below are breath taking....More

They have a nice selection of choices - not too many, but a variety of sandwiches, salads and other fare. The prices on are the moderately high end, but the food is also. The restaurant does not have a lot of seating, so at peak...times, it can get a bit crowded, but normally there is seating without a wait.More

My husband and I stopped here after a hike. We just shared an ahi salad but we’d give it a 7/10 and there definitely other menu items to try. The view is great. Feels like your in the mountains but at a 10 min drive...from our house a great balanceMore

This restaurant is right across the street from my neighborhood! It unfortunately got a rough start under a tyrant of a manager/owner. They're now under new ownership, and it's a much better experience. The food is pretty good, some items excellent, some just okay. The...blanco chicken nachos, fish and chips, pizza and fries are stellar. The prices are a little high, but the atmosphere is nice, and there's often live music on the weekends. They also have a cooler section where you can buy the basics, beer, and ice cream. What more do you need?More

We have visited the ridge several times over the last 3 years. Every item we have tried has been phenomenal. Our favorites: the meatloaf, the nachos (appetizer), all of the pizzas, the Reuben sandwich, the fish tacos, and best of all is the salmon. If...I knew how to make salmon this yummy, I would make it every night! The mashed potatoes are perfect! I just wish they would bring back the au gratin potatoes! We have brought friends with us three times and all have loved it!More

I’ve seen several reviews citing “bad service” at the ridge and I feel I need to clarify something for out-of-towners: The Ridge is a neighborhood cafe and market with tables. It looks like a restaurant, the food is restaurant quality, and the staff works hard...to make it feel like a restaurant, but if you think of it as a restaurant that happens to have a grocery aisle in the back, you’ll be missing the point and you’ll be disappointed. The Ridge is situated in Suncrest at the top of Traverse Mountain where only a fool (like me) would buy a house. It’s an amazing place in spring, summer, and fall, but it’s a bit of an adventure in winter, which is why the developer built a neighborhood grocery story. Several times a year, the roads down the mountain close so we local residents can’t get down to buy milk, bread, or basically any essentials. The Ridge is our lifeline. Unfortunately, eight months out of the year we’re all too spoiled by Harmon’s and Smith’s to bother with a local market, so the owners diversified into an awesome little cafe that serves amazing food! We LOVE to see our valley neighbors at The Ridge! You guys make it a hip, fun place to hang out and because of you, the food stays amazing. That said, you have to remember that The Ridge still basically a neighborhood cafe and market. We Suncrest residents are always very patient with restaurant goers and I’ll happily wait for 20 minutes in line waiting for you folks to order dinner before I pay for an Apple and a six-pack of soda (because the cafe keeps the grocery store going), but please stop complaining because you have to order at a “counter” and must seat yourselves. The Rudge is a unique and magical place with amazing food! Appreciate it for what it is, and stop comparing it to what it thankfully is not.More

The food was not bad.The service was terrible. I asked for napkins and they never brought them and my ribye was cold. As we were leaving we wanted to get dessert And they closed the icecream stand because it was 5 minutes past closing time....The restaurant was still 1/4 full who does that seriously. Also not one waiter came by to ask us how our meal was and see if we needed anything. I dont think I would go back unless they changed a few things and updated their customer service.More
