We were planning to take the Burr Trail that day but due to weather concerns decided it best not to push it. We decided to stop in for lunch not knowing what to expect. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered a Huckleberry Soda which was a nice treat, but the burger? OMG wow! To this... More

We stopped here while driving up Scenic Highway 12 and were glad we did. Food was very unique and so delicious. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which were like no other we've had before. There was a special homemade sauce drizzled on top that pared well with the tomatoes. The mixed green salad was large enough for two and... More

We rolled in about a week before they were to close for the winter and were served excellent hamburgers and potato wedges with slaw (and a craft beer). The slaw was a pleasant surprise as so many restaurants gunk it up with mayo and sugar. It was obvious from taste and texture that they had used first-grade ingredients. Server and... More

Enjoyed the lovely home baked pie and coffee each but it from memory it worked out at about $25 which was easily the priciest snack of our 3 week holiday in the south west. The trading post next door is excellent though and probably would have been a better option for just coffee and cake.

My husband and I were halfway into our 3400 mile motorcycle ride when we came off the beautiful Burr Trail, hungry and a looking for something warm to eat when Nick, a fellow rider we had met and been traveling with for a few days, flagged us into the Burr Trail Grill. Had their Thai burger and wonderful seasoned potatoes... More

We stopped at this place because there is very little to choose from in this area. The server was not friendly and he made us feel as if we were a bother. The food was OK but VERY spicy. We are from Louisiana but this was so spicy that one person in our group could not eat her food.

Good food and service but they close for the season the end of October so could only eat there a couple of times for lunch. They were open for lunch only the week we were there.

This is one of those locally grown and / or organic places. It's one of the few restaurants in Boulder. It's open seasonally. I believe it closes after Oct. 30. We had burgers for lunch. Their portions were large. Our burgers were above average, but not outstanding. I think their dinner menu looked much more interesting.

Some campers we met earlier had recommended this place so we stopped in to try it out. We arrived an hour before they closed for the season in October. The burgers were outstanding. Fresh ingredients, tasty combinations. My partner had a pulled pork sandwich which he also reported was excellent. The cole slaw was unusual, not mayonnaise-y, and tasty as... More

To be out in the middle of nowhere, this is an amazing little restaurant! We were there on a rainy day in September, and the place was packed, as I suspect it is at virtually all times of the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was surprisingly creative and fresh -- compliments to the chef! We heard... More
