Splurged on the ribeye expecting to be a little disappointed but not this disappointed. The waitress was great however.

Wow, what a great find! We stopped at Sunglow on our way to the Capital Reef National Park. We ordered a burger and a club sandwich. Both were exceptional, and the homemade fries were perfect. Due to the large portions, there was no way we had room for a slice of one of the homemade pies tempting us from the... More
Good, hearty American-style menu with lots of options, and a helpful and sweet server. We were intrigued by a sign advertising their Pickle Pie and Pinto Bean Pie, so we bought a sampler to try. I didn't love all the pies we sampled, but they were very interesting and fun to taste! And some of them were actually really good!
A group of three of us drove here (about 5 mins) from Torrey to try their pie sampler. It's a worn diner, with lots of local folk. But what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in service (very friendly) and flavor of food! The menu is surprisingly varied - from comfort foods, to Mexican. Each of us got... More
I booked a room here as all other lodging from Capitol Reef NP to Bicknell were filled. I wasn't sure what to expect, as it is just an L shaped building alongside a big parking lot, & not really appealing. it is one of many older mom & pop motels that are the mainstay in rural Utah. It appears that... More
I had the pleasure of staying at the SunGlow, on my recent trip/ The people were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. It had a nice shower as well. The bonus was having a nice restaurant attached. They have some interesting desserts, Oatmeal Pie, Pinto Bean Pie, and Pickle Pie, in addition to old standards. They do... More
Stopped by this café for dinner while staying overnight down the road. I was so impressed with their smothered burrito - Colorado green chile verde and pulled pork. Not something I would usually order, but now I am craving more. The patty melt was good as well. Staff was very attentive and didn't rush us out even though I believe... More
Absolutely amazing service, but the food isn't the greatest. My fiancé and I will readily admit that we are food snobs, and we had a lot of trouble finding a decent place near Capitol Reef. We ate at Cafe Diablo (horrible service, horrible food), the Broken Spur (comical-I ordered salmon and the fish came out white-though service was good here)....and... More
Wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. The staff was friendly, the food was alright. The kids really liked the scones, I didn't try them so I can't say.
