It's more than just great food with unusual flavors & remarkable recipes, it's more than just a VERY cool atmosphere with a fabulous outdoor back patio ... the employees make you feel like you "belong"!!

My husband and I had lunch here based on TripAdvisor reviews and had a great experience! He had the Pap and Wors and I had the Smoked Chicken. Both were delicious! Complimentary glasses of wine were a nice touch. We shared a slice of Key...Lime Pie for dessert. Service was great! The weather was beautiful and we sat outside. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!More

We were with our family here, for lunch, for our 50th wedding anniversary. Pap and Wors were amazing. The appetizer tray was also excellent. We enjoyed the superb service. Who would think that a restaurant of this quality would be found in this little town.

Everything about this place is an experience. I loved it as soon as I walked in, but the food sealed the deal. Service was spot on, friendly and attentive. I ordered a cup of the soup of the day... potato mushroom--it was without reservation, the...best soup I have had all year--rich and smooth with a perfect earthiness from the mushrooms. I didn't want the experience to end...but... it did. Then the waiter served my main selection... the Salmon Salad--it was blackened on a bed of soft greens, carrots, onions, tomatoes, and a creamy dressing. The waiter served us a house wine of our choice and refilled the glasses... This kind of care and service is NOT the usual. My take... make your reservation NOW.More

The flat iron steak is so good but save room for dessert because their pies you just can't turn down!! Curbside pick up is available and very convenient.

What a hidden gem! My wife and I took a day trip from Dallas, and found this South African restaurant on Trip advisor and it lived up to expectations for lunch. The savory meat pie had a nice spicy kick, and the roasted red pepper...soup was homemade and delicious. We highly recommend you go out of your way to find this place in downtown Winnsboro, and enjoy the cuisine, the ambiance, and the nice people who own it and the employees who work there.More

Winnsboro is a fun little town for antiquing and junking. We have lunched at Liefie's several times and have never been disappointed. This past Saturday we stopped in for a bite of lunch around 1:00 pm and the restaurant was busy. We ordered a Panini...to share and two bowls of their soup of the day: roasted red pepper. Both were wonderful and the Panini was of ample size for sharing. The only downside was the wait for the food. It took over 30 minutes for the food to come out which tells me they were short staffed or busier than expected.More

Excellent food and good service. We've never been disappointed. Some might think it's a tad pricey, but we found it to be appropriate.

Found this delightful little restaurant that has overwhelming character and a joy to be in. I had a lovely older lady as my waitress whom was fantastic, she got everything right and was fun to talk too. I ordered the prime rib and it was...scrumptious, very hot and tender with great horseradish. The potatoes were good, seemed sautéed with onions and seasonings, I couldn’t stay away from them. And last but not least the monkey sauce had a very distinctive taste but very good. I can’t wait to go back with family so they can enjoy as much as I did. I sat in the main restaurant, I heard them talking and taking people to the back porch that was closed in for the winter.More
