Yeah, it's just a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but the service is pleasant and you'll be too busy with you face in a tray of delectable mud bugs to worry much about decor (although, there's lots of beer signage and no beer...perhaps they are just...a guideline of how you may self-enhance your dining experience with BYOB). Crawfish were fantastic, and a great value. Corn was a little over-cooked, but the potatoes were fine. Overall, you can't cook these at home yourself for this price...and likely not this tasty. We devoured 2 lbs. and ordered more. Eat 'em 'til it hurts. It's worth it.More

I like my crawfish spicy, but not crazy hot. The crawfish here were really good, spiced just right and not over cooked. We also had the Cajun onion which is an onion cooked with the crawfish and is really good. Coupled with corn on the...cob and new potatoes, oh my...yum!More

This was my first time eating crawfish and they were delicious! I had the platter, which included crawfish, shrimp, crab legs, sausage, corn on the cob & a potato. It was more than I could eat but I gave it my best. Great fast service!

I went to eat here many times. The food is a little pricey but it is very good. They do not serve alcohol there but you can bring in your own or a small cooler which I thought was neat. They have a very limited...menu crayfish, boiled shrimp and crab. It’s a small place with small, hometown atmosphere. Overall I would say it’s a good place to stop and eat some crayfish.More

Great family owned business! Fast and wonderful service! Food is great although it is only open during crawfish season, it’s worth the wait!

Great little place to fill up with boiled crawfish. Just the right amount of seasoning. The crab, shrimp, crawfish combo is also a winner if you're looking for a little variety.

We were in search of crawfish because my fellow traveler had never had crawfish. We found the Crawfish Hole. A small place serving up boiled crawfish in season. If I had never eaten or boiled crawfish, this place would have been ok. The crawfish were...nice size and many were the size of small lobsters. Their shells were so hard, I had to break the tail in half to get to strip the first knuckle. I was having to strip the first knuckle because the meat wasn't exiting on the pinch. It was down right stubborn to get the tail meat out. The spice was all over the outside of the shells. It was if they had sprinkled seasoning on the crawfish after they were cooked. They seasoning was not in the boil. I figured Winnie being so close to Louisiana they would get it right. Unfortunately I was disappointed. My friend did get to try crawfish and learned how to peel. The next night we found crawfish in Louisiana that were well seasoned in the boil. They had no seasoning on the shells. A small pinch of the tail and the meat exited like it was greased. Thank you Crawfish Hole for at least having some crawfish for us to sample.More

Whether you call 'em crayfish, crawfish, crawdads...it doesn't matter. A classic crawfish/shrimp boil joint. We were amazed by the two local teenage girls who had filled a bucket with discarded heads; the waitress said they hat eaten 15 lbs between them! We had had a...late breakfast and a snack but need to have lunch on time so we opted for the crawfish grilled cheesed; truly retro: some crawdad tails in melted sliced cheese sandwiched between white bread and grilled. Worked for me!More
