Because of the rating in Yelp, we decided to take a chance. The rating of 4.7 is way too high. My wife and I, and another couple had lunch at Linda's. I really believe they should drop the "Fine". We had Mongolian Ribs (4 small...ribs, tasty), Brisket Quesadilla (flat, drab, and not very good), Pesto Tortellini, and Crab cakes and Hushpuppies ( cooked to well, and not very delicate!). The tomato soup was good, but the other soup, believe mushroom? soup, was very watery. Overall the plates hardly resemble the photos. Not much life in them and very uncolorful. The waiter and front man was great. Very good service, and the decor/background and surroundings were homey at best. The outside benches and tables looked weathered and not pleasant. We all felt we would not be coming back.More

We always go to Linda's when we visit Wimberley. This time was special, because we wanted to support her during the COVID slow-down. Everything was set up for hand sanitizing, social distancing, etc. - we ate outside with nobody around. I had the Mongolian ribs...- wow! ... Tender, very tasty, really good. My wife had the fig salad, and loved loved loved it. All the food was served with care and human warmth, and even more appreciation than usual. Please visit Linda's, and help make sure this treasure in Wimberley stays open for years to come!More

Based on previous reviews, we expected more from the restaurant. Food was adequate, the menu was very limited as it only listed salads and entrees. No appetizers, no desserts. The advertising had a more variety of foods. Disappointed

Enjoyed our visit very much. Inside was nice and cool so perfect on a hot summers evening, and the decor was of a nice style. Adam our server was very friendly. My husband enjoyed his pork ribs and I loved my meat loaf, mash and...a side of orca and corn. We had a few beers each and I took a pecan cookie home with me for afters. Very tasty and I would recommend.More

We've been to Linda's a couple of times and the food is okay, but i think everything is made in bulk in advance and reheated when you order. The flea market furniture in every room is quaint, but aimed at tourists, not locals. Pretty sure...people go for the atmosphere and the live music though.More

Linda's deserves another review because they change their menu each changing season including special off season entrees. Ample free parking. Friendly service. Ample quantities offered. Wine and beer offered. Food taste fresh and well thought out seasoning. Live music on weekends.

My husband and I came here on a Monday night after we had arrived in Wimberley for a mini vacation. We called them to make sure they were open and the man who answered was very inviting and encouraged us to come on in. It...was kind-of late when we got there, but we had been driving for a while and were thankful to find a restaurant (not a fast food one) open. We each ordered and I got the Chicken Enchiladas and he got the Italian Sausage with Pasta. I really did not like mine, but my husband’s was delectable so I ordered one for me. I usually do not like Italian Sausage, but I must say this was absolutely delicious. I know it is not normal to order a second dish at a restaurant, but I really did not like their chicken enchiladas and wanted to have a good experience since we were on vacation. The waitress did not offer to take the one back I did not like (which I find interesting,) but she did take my order and bring me a second dish. We did pay for all three meals and took the one I didn’t like in hopes that it may taste better the next day. I asked my husband to try it the next day, but he did not really like the enchiladas either. Overall, it was a decent experience and we really both liked (very much) their Italian Sausage and Pasta Dish.More

We went there the Saturday before mother's day when there was live music. It was busy and we had a few minutes to wait as we wanted a table at the end of the restaurant so we weren't right on top of the music. The...food was very good although i didn't appreciate there were no vegetables with my meal or I would have ordered a side. However the meatloaf and parmesan mash were delicious. Our son had the cauliflower green curry which he said was very flavourful and his wife had tomato and basil soup and salad which was apparently very good. We finished of with carrot cake and banana and chocolate crepes. The menu changes weekly. The restaurant is decorated with large mosaic art pieces and vintage furniture. The live music was good and added to the relaxed atmosphere of Linda's. A very good evening.More

We were two couples on a quick getaway and chose Linda's at random. Great choice! Lots of good choices on the menu Two had the King ranch chicken and two the trout amondine. Four happy people. The desserts are just as good -- creme Brule...and banana chocolate crepes. We would return in a heartbeat.More

This is a cool old house with a couple little rooms for dining that are really cool. Throw in outdoor seating and it has an awesome feel. Also live music all weekend. The food is all fresh and really creative with something for everyone. The...menu changes weekly so check it out. A must try in Wimberley.More
