Lovely setting, small but thoughtful menu and wine list. The food was simple and well executed. Very reasonable prices.

The Leaning Pear is probably my favorite restaurant in all of Texas. The service is great, the staff is great, the food is fresh, inventive and always delicious. I love the chicken and grits, and the Leaning Pear salad is my favorite. My partner and I usually try at least 1 item that is a "special" whether that is a... More

Everything we had here was amazing. We had to wait a little while for a table, but the have a nice patio outside with a small bar to get drinks while you wait. The pizza i had was the Bendino, which has lamb and yogurt and mint on it. That may sound like a strange combination, but it was incredible.... More

I have eaten at Leaning Pear several times. When I become adventurous with their menu, I tend to be disappointed. But their daily soups, one cold and one hot, with their salads is always yummy and reliable.

And a crisp glass of Pinot. Great food. Excellent desserts and dog friendly outdoor seating. Good service and flowing Cypress Creek below the hill. Fireflies at night in the summer

We had a delightful evening at the Leaning Pear. The food is outstanding with a very creative menu. I had a special of seafood in a coconut curry sauce. The house salad with goat cheese adn pears was a real treat. It is really an idyllic location looking down on Cyprus Creek. Quite amazing

This was our favorite meal of the trip. They also have a unique dining experience if you sit outside either on the open patio or the screened treehouse style area. Very cool all the way around, and everything we had was excellent.

The view from the porch was stunning in this little venue. I'd highly recommend sitting outside. The food was pretty good, and the dessert was scrumptious! I'd definitely recommend a stop here when you're in Wimberly.
