Had to wait a few minutes due to no seats available because everyone wanting to eat here! I had the BLT and my wife had the squash/curry soup and rueben sandwich. Very tasty and worth the wait. Great service, awesome food! You will not be disappointed!!

Yummy chicken and grits! Nice outdoor deck with heaters! I've heard lots of great things about this restaurant, and now I have my own story to tell. I'll be back!

The building is beautiful, but the food did not live up to the decor. We all order the house salad with 1/2 sandwich or soup. The entire salad was covered with cinnamon! When we asked the waitress, she said that the nuts were coated with cinnamon and when they are at the end of the barrel, then the nuts are... More

The Leaning Pear was delicious!! The staff courteous & prompt, and the venue top-notch! My husband Pastors and church and we chose to venture away from the DFW area to a tiny Texas town we'd never been before for a much needed respite. After a bad experience at the Wimberley Cafe that afternoon, we were greatly pleased with our dinner... More

The Leaning Pear was the perfect place for our families to meet for a day in the Texas Hill Country. The setting and meal were spectacular. The was a varied menu that accommodated our dietary restrictions (Gluten Free; No Dairy).

Great food, beer and people. After dinner we walked down by the creek and took lots of lovely pictures. Mom got a kick out of the spinning coin drop.

We didn't know what to expect as this was the first time we heard about this restaurant. The experience was pure delight. They were very busy so took our name and we walked the grounds with our grandson. There was a swing for him, and he loved the creek. Short wait time, seated in the beautiful dining room ( child... We ate at The Leaning Pear on a Friday evening. We made our reservation for 6 pm and learned it quickly filled up...for a good reason. We sat on the open air patio but really most of the restaurant is open air. We had the macaroni and cheese as an appetizer and it was delicious. Although the menu is small,... More
