Stopped to try some BBQ after a month of seafood. Hard to find this place. It was busy at lunch, cafeteria style. The pork shoulder was good, as was the beef. The sauce was good. The sides were cold and greasy. Won't go again.

I love BBQ!!!! Growing up in Texas bbq is a food group and this is a great place to eat! Remember to bring cash or checks cause they don't except credit cards. They do have an ATM though if you forget.

My wife and I have visited twice. First time was not that good , the ribs were excessively greasy. The sides were nothing to write home about . We decided , based on friends recommendations, to try it again. The ribs again were excessively greasy. Perhaps some folks like them like that , but not us. Nothing but cash accepted... More

Love coming here for lunch or dinner, it's cash or check, ATM on site inside dining room. Western decor, friendly faces, 42 years serving Wichita Falls, fall off the bone ribs, tender brisket, smoked ham, etc. They make their own sauce, sides, and hand tossed potato salad! ❤️

We've tried all the meats and they are all good. You get a lot of food for the money. The sides are great as well. Love the fried okra.

It's been awhile since I've eaten at this restaurant. I had the rib lunch platter to go. There was enough food to save the next day for a second lunch.

Found the Branding Iron in Wichita Falls and was able to park my big 50ft rig (tow and camper trailer) in the car park next to the rail track! As you enter you are confronted with the nest station with a dozen different unbelievably good meat choices - imagine: ribs, brisket, sausage, smoked turkey, ham, barbecue, chopped pork, sliced beef... So glad we left the Hwy to find some lunch. This place keeps it simple and unpretentious and produces the best BBQ I think I have ever had. Not to mention the chocolate pie and ice tea!! I will be back for sure.

Stopped here with a clue if guys I was working with while in on a business trip from Chicago. Had the mixed meat plate. Everything was good especially the Brisket. A must stop if you are in the area.

If you are looking for some good barbeque for lunch or dinner, this is the place! Food is served cafeteria style. Anything you choose is good. They also have take out. It's extremely rustic & casual--you won't be disappointed. They also cater.
