My wife and I have eaten here twice in the last months. We live in Waco and will make it a point from now on to plan our drive through Whitney to have lunch or breakfast here. All of their food is made from scratch and is really good! I have talked with the owner and he runs a professional... More

Thank you so much for your review and kind words. I will look into the incident with the coffee as we do use fresh ground bold coffee beans so I may need to have an adjustment made. We look forward to serving you again soon. More

Not even as good as a greasy spoon. I got a salad and my mom got the chicken fried steak. The salad was iceberg and croutons ... totally overpriced and icky. Instead go across the street to the BBQ place. Much better.

I apologize for your bad experience as it is our goal to meet and exceed your expectations with each and every visit. I would like to speak with you more especially about your salad as croutons aren't an ingredient in any of our salads. You will find a direct link to our email on our website. I hope you will... Chicken-fried steak dinner was excellent and the servings were massive. Their fried pickles are the best i have had and the jalapeno-ranch dip was delicious. Our waitress Carrie was super friendly and helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend

We had lunch here while on the Hot Rod Power Tour. Great chicken fried steak and fried everything. If you are looking for authentic Texas food, you can find it here.

Overall the food was good. Oatmeal stay away from. Pancakes were very good. Sevice average. Will try the pies next time we are that way

Greatness comes from the heart and soul of those who actually care to make everything just right, and that is the case with Judy Smith and her daughter Chrystal Lancaster. I happen to be one of the lucky ones who lives in Whitney and can thrill in the fantastic food they create and serve to their delighted customers whenever I... More

Hard to beat the variety of food. Best service in Hill County. Good people serving good food. Plenty of seating. Cannot beat the pies. They are tasty!

Food good, service great, probably the best place in Whitney to eat. Even though it's in a strip center has good country cafe decor and feel.
