So good, service and food!

Becca is so personable and ready to take care of you no matter how busy. She’s a doll! Monica is such a joy, she always make sure to come out of the kitchen and visit with all customers. I have an admiration with her staff and menu. The homemade linguini is absolutely to die for with marinara. We love coming here and love to support Monica!! A favorite restaurant for sure!!

There were 8 of us so we had several things. The Pasta Carbonara was excellent as was the Caesar salad. Other people has chicken parm, and eggplant. The tomato basil soup and the minestrone were also excellent. The garlic bread was good and I think it came with the meal. The service was friendly. We enjoyed everything until the bill. They messed up and charged things twice and to the wrong people. It was a mess and it took forever to get it straightened out. And I mean forever. Only real negative.

There are a few options when it comes to Italian restaurants in Weatherford, Texas. I’ve tried them all! For the quality, price and service you can’t beat this restaurant. This time I ordered their lasagna…it was fabulous!

First Visit Disappointing

We tried this place in their new location on Main street. Tried the pizza & some side salads. The pizza had a nice thin charred crust. The toppings were minimal, sauce was salty, and this is actually a one person snack. Roughly 12" in diameter with pepperoni, Mushrooms, garlic oil for over $15. The real gotcha was two small plastic boxed side salads for $5.50 each. I'm doubtful I am going to try again.

Very disappointed

Tried this little Italian place out with high hopes but honestly it tasted horrible, like a cheap reheated dish. The sauce was lacking depth and flavor and was not good and my noodles were hard. Not sure if we ordered to close to closing or what happened. Won't be back.

Tasty personal pizzas and good service

3rd time eating here, delicious every time! I want to try their pasta but every time I go I can’t say no to the brick oven pizza. Nice place to go for a little date night, or out w friends

Great salads! Great prices!! Great service!

What more could you want? Our waitress was superb. The food was great and the prices were low. Sat outside on the deck and enjoyed our sangria as well. Will definitely be coming back

Hidden gem, well worth the

Sooo good!!

Trying this out to see if we wanted to use them to cater our Christmas party. Absolutely!! Very quiet, but the pasta was so yummy!! Fresh is best! Worth the drive! Will be back!

Surprise Surprise!

We stopped in for dinner Sunday night and had a great meal! Ambience nothing to get excited about, but the food and service was excellent! Waitress recommendations were spot on, my entree was innovative and delicious, so was the dessert, chocolate salami. Sounds weird but was really good and looked like salami! Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend if in the Tin Top area.

Still Delicious

We have dined here many times. On this night we took three other couples with us. Among the couples starters were the house salad and Tomato Basil soup which as delicious even though served luke warm and in a cold bowl. This could be easily corrected. Main courses were ravioli with house made marinara (a bit roo sweet for the recipient). The three pasta dish with sausage which was well liked and spaghetti carbonara the big winner for the night. Such a yummy dinner but sadly again served on a cold plate. This is such a shame when the dish is dicious in every other respect. I hope the kitchen will give this their attention. I love this place and the owner, Monica. She brings us authentic recipes with her house made pasta. Hot plates are an easy fix. We took tiramisu to go which was fantastic. We'll be back soon.

Wonderful food

While this restaurant is a little out of the way, the food is well worth the drive. I had the Pasta Trevis which was flavorful, rich and satisfying. The offer a gluten free pasta which makes my wife happy as she cannot eat gluten. Service was excellent.

I think I can save some time for the wooden palates of the world with these hints: 1. If you believe Olive Garden serves food, don't eat at Mamma Monica's. 2. If you think Cici's is priced about right, don't go here. 3. If opening a can of Spaghetti-O's is the path to nirvana for you, don't make the drive. Otherwise, if you appreciate authentic homestyle cooking in the style of North Central Italy served at really fair prices, this may be for you. No, there is no "Italian" dipping sauce for the bread; try to find that in Italy and you'll be disappointed. (There are no chips and salsa, either.) This is not a white table cloth experience; this is homey comfort food from Italy, not a can. They are located in a dry area, which allows you to bring great wine of your choice; you pay a small corkage fee instead of the usual 200% premium on the wine. We've made at least 8 visits, one with a large group without reservations: never been disappointed. Everyone local we've taken with us has gone back.
