We laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. The show was awesome and the food was fantastic. Cant wait to go again. Billy and Carol and family are awesome entertainers.
The food at The Painted Pony has been delicious both times I’ve eaten there. The family who owns it are such kind people and I love the family support that goes into running the business. We attended the Murder Mystery Dinner in mid July and...loved every minute of it. The food was amazing, the show fun and the talent incredible. I highly recommend both the restaurant and the shows they do twice a month.More
You will like the atmosphere, the attentive service, and the food that's made from scratch in this adorable lunch spot just off the square. A friend and I tried out this place and loved it. We both tried the sampler platter which included soup, salad,...small croissant sandwich, fruit, and pie for dessert. We also both had the Byrdie tea; everyone should try it! The owners visited with us, since we were there for a late lunch. So glad we went and we are looking forward to going with our spouses on a Saturday evening in October for a murder mystery dinner that they are starting up, Like they said, "why drive to Grapevine, etc. when you can stay in Weatherford and have the experience?" And we each took home a homemade peachy cinnamon roll, which won first prize in this summer's Peach Festival. Delicious!More
Food was excellent including the house special tea "Birdie's Tea" I think is what the called it. It was great experience and enjoyed talking with the owners.
Carol and Billy are the nicest people, lovely atmosphere, good food and great service. Relaxing the tea and the sandwiches were so good. We will certainly be back. They offer events to make it a great place to take kids and grandkids. What a gem.
Delightful place that is easy to overlook. It is near the Court House on North Main. Everything on the menu is delicious, as we ordered a variety of items. This is probably not a place to go when you are in a hurry, though, and...prices are not cheap. This is an ideal place for relaxed (or retired) friends meeting for a long, casual, charming lunch.More
Nice new establishment, great location, wonderful food and service with reasonable prices. The cookies were the best I have had.
