"BE HUNGRY!" Wow this place was great! Located in a quaint old hose in the historic district, this place had the perfectly cooked and seasoned catfish! Hush puppies and slaw were awesome as well! And the little young lady that waited on us was so personable! Wish I had gotten her name. Can't go wrong here, but be hungry!

Great fried pickles and catfish! Great service! I haven't seen any ghosts, but some claim to. I love the renovated house.

Food was really good. My son loved his wife and I had the regular platter ,it was excellent. Daughter had some sort of burger that looked like a wagon wheel, but good.

We usually love this restaurant but the last visit was alittle disappointing. The spicy catfish had a delicious crispy light batter. However the regular catfish, fries, & okra were alittle soggy as if they'd been sitting for awhile. Just not up to the usual standard. Check days & times before you go since this restaurant isn't open all the time.... More

The Catfish Plantation has a rich history and great food. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, you just might start to have 2nd thoughts,

Located in a house slightly off the beaten path this restaurant is haunted by at least three ghosts. While waiting for your table (service is first come, first served so there is usually a little wait) you are free to browse through some newspaper articles, pictures, etc. in scrape books telling about the ghostly sightings. The food is very good,... More

Don't know if they were having a bad day or what but, wait time was awful, time to get food was unacceptable and fish was rubbery.

Ok, so you might meat a ghost here but the ghost has been friendly to me. The food is out of the world great for the price you will get full. Plus the sweet tea .......... I can not say enough great things about the tea.

I had seen the reviews about the rude staff and thought maybe it was a fluke. Not so. We got there about 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. A big group was just leaving. There were several people waiting for tables. The host (young man) told us it would be about a 30 minute wait. We noticed there were several empty... More

It was Father's Day, I got to choose where we had lunch or dinner. I chose Catfish Plantation. We headed over right after church expecting to wait but that's ok for this place. We get there around 12:30 and the parking lot is half full at best. Our wait was 10 minutes for some reason because there was hardly anyone... More
