We decided to try the Ghost Hunt they offer at their premise every weekend in October. Check the dates. It started off a bit unorganized but the quickly got under way. There were interesting stories and someone there to do readings which helped to fill in the time while the other two groups investigated. The amount of investigation time seemed... More

We heard so much about this restaurant that we just had to try it ourselves. We were the first ones there and were greeted by a very sweet young lady. Our table was next to one of the many windows, in a comfortable and charming room. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious! We both ate the catfish... More

We stayed at a near-by Bed and Breakfast and could walk to the Catfish Plantation, which was very convenient. Service was terrific, friendly and talkative about the haunted part of the restaurant - which we did not get any goosebumps there... but enjoyed the food which is in very large portions. Tables are a little tight but still was comfortable.... More

We love to go to Catfish Plantation. Besides great catfish, they have the best fried pickles! We have tasted fried pickles. At several restaurants, but Catfish Plantation has the best!

Late September and October are the best months to visit this restaurant. It is decorated to the Max for Halloween and Fall. Has a pumpkin patch for kids to pick out pumpkins to carve. Has sugar skulls for day of the dead, local hand made shaws for sale, costumed servers and a special pumpkin desert made only at this time... More

Not many really good stops in Waxahachie, but this is one not to miss. Huge amount of food! Go after church, but expect a wait!

"BE HUNGRY!" Wow this place was great! Located in a quaint old hose in the historic district, this place had the perfectly cooked and seasoned catfish! Hush puppies and slaw were awesome as well! And the little young lady that waited on us was so personable! Wish I had gotten her name. Can't go wrong here, but be hungry!

Great fried pickles and catfish! Great service! I haven't seen any ghosts, but some claim to. I love the renovated house.

Food was really good. My son loved his wife and I had the regular platter ,it was excellent. Daughter had some sort of burger that looked like a wagon wheel, but good.

Thank Jeff S
