We drove from Fort Worth to enjoy lunch at one of our favorite tea rooms! So happy to get out of town if only for lunch. None of the employees were wearing masks, however, which immediately surprised us. Every restaurant we go to in Fort...Worth has a strict policy regarding masks. Since we had driven 45 minutes to get there, we decided to stay and chance it. Lunch was delicious, service wonderful as always and we still love The Doves Nest. Just wished there had been more precautions to protect the employees and customers.More

Consistently very good food. A favorite for many years and you can browse their shops while waiting for a table.

Not a chain restaurant by any means. Dove's Nest's owner is/was a CHEF, compared to just a cook. Service is good. Recipes are AWESOME. Affordable

I gave the Dove's Nest high rating because the selection of items in the shop is great and food is quite good. Very pleasant experience, even during the town's busy Christmas celebration weekend.

The ladies loved it, the men were ok. The men had burgers which we both thought were ok. Not great not bad. The restaurant felt like an addendum to the store which is very packed with Christmas articles. The wait

We just arrived from our flight from Ontario to Dallas Love and we had only thirty minutes before the restaurant is closing Luckily, we were seated right away and the waitress said that there is only 2 cups of potato soup available. Considering the day...was rainy and cold, the potato soup was the best meal to have. I also ordered the club sandwich (oh! the bacon was so good). The restaurant had a cozy feel to it. Love restaurants when they make you feel at ease and you can also enjoy the company of your friends. I observed my girlfriends enjoying their lunch and so I can confidently say that the dishes they ordered was good. The waitress knew that we will pay separately and she told us to pay at the cashier individually. Overall, I like the place, the nice staff and the good food.More

This is a different place to eat. Has a area of antique things to see and purchase. The food is really good. Atmosphere and food worth the trip. Go check it out.

We just left, it’s 1:45pm, where did those good reviews come from? Food was fair, but almost every table DID NOT finish their lunch no one bothered to check after we got our food, and I might add it came long after others that came...later got their food. Check came, and see ya, well we live a long way off, so chances to return anyway which we wouldn’t are slim to none. I would look else where, to see what is availableMore

I think you would really enjoy The Doves Nest for your gathering. Great menu, decor and staff. We really enjoyed it in August.
