Our first trip to this restaurant was mostly positive. I had lemon chicken which was good and my wife had chicken egg foo yung which is her favorite. I thought the egg foo yung was too well done but my wife liked it.

Ya gotta love “Ma and Pa Shops”. Nice selection for menu with cosy atmosphere with fast service. And, best of all the food is really good!

The broccoli chicken was so good! Just the right amount of crisp for the broccoli. We stopped by after church for a really quick lunch. Great service, too!

Have eat here for over 20 years. Food and service has always been great. Owner is now letting customers babysit their kids. Screaming, running, jumping all over the booths. I am done. Most irritating meal I have had in years.

I find this place to be a bit expensive for what you get, but the food is decent and the staff is pleasant. I like the sauces and dips quite a bit. Worth going to.

The best Hot and Sour soup! We drive 30 minutes to get to Ying but it is well worth the time. Whatever we eat there it has to include Hot and Sour soup!

Have eaten delivery items for 10 plus years. Generally consistent, good quality, delivered at proper service temperatures. Hard to find a menu, and wish they had a website for online ordering.

Because of the reviews I saw on Tripadvisor, my wife and I gave Ying Cafe a try yesterday evening for dinner. When we arrived we were seated in a booth and as we sat down, we sank so low down in our seats that it made the table height awkward, so we asked to be moved to a table instead. The atmosphere of the place is dated with faded and wrinkled murals on the walls and a dividing wall of silk plants in the center of the room. The lighting was very bright, not pleasant for evening dinning at all. There was only one server working the entire dining room. He was doing the best he could, but to give great service, he could have used some help. The egg rolls were average and the hot and sour soup was a bit too hot for our taste and what we are used to having at our Chinese Restaurants. My entree had beef in it, and the quality of that beef wasn't good. Each bite was like chewing on pieces of fat. My wife had an entree with shrimp and she said hers was average in taste. My wife and I frequent "Golden China" in Southlake and we think it is Excellent, especially compared to Ying Cafe. The atmosphere is much better, with more servers to handle the tables, and the food quality is always Excellent. Yes, I know this review is not about Golden China, but when I compare Ying and their atmosphere, service, food quality and taste to another similar type restaurants I frequent, then Ying is lucky they are getting an average rating from me. Ying is certainly not a "hidden treasure."

Wish I lived closer to this place, their dine in lunch specials are the best with great portions. The main thing I must tell you is that they use fresh chicken in their dishes (not the frozen junk your probably used to). My wife always gets the sweet n' sour chicken and it's all white meat that's fresh. The sauce is always excellent on every dish I've tried. Their soups (choice of egg drop & hot & sour at dine in lunch) are always consistent and good.

Wonderfully surprised with this find! Best General Tso Chicken ever! Chicken was crispy yet saucy and very well spiced. Very generous portions served up fresh and hot! Best Egg Drop Soup also! A nice surprise is they have $6.50 lunch specials, 7 days a week. This includes (egg drop or hot and sour) soup, egg roll, cheese puff, fried rice/or white, rice noodles and entree of choice! The cheese puff was such a tasty treat and much appreciated! Egg roll was crispy and not greasy. Local delivery offered for free which we will take advantage of! Plenty of parking, very friendly staff, great service, and a nice clean dining room. This will now be our weekly stop!

Lots of light inside. Friendly wait-staff look you in the eye and know how to keep you happy without hovering. Lunches are great, with Rice, noodles, entree, spring roll, and soup. Oh, and the price is right. I got the Pork and Garlic sauce.

The food is very fresh and great variety. I personally enjoy all of the spicy dishes and the Kung Po combination is excellent. Egg Drop soup is great and the noodles served at lunch are excellent. You will not go away hunger. I have probably had 20 different items on the menu - and all have been very good. You really need to try this place - you will not be disappointed.
