Great Cajun cuisine! Overlooking the beautiful Brazos River it's a great place to watch the sun set! The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable!

I have only been here once during a visit in Waco. If I lived here, I would definitely frequent this restaurant. The catfish is delicious and I can't believe how much catfish you get for the price! The restaurant is nice looking and the view of the river is beautiful. I did not eat anything else but the catfish dinner... More
The food and service was excellent. I had the bucket of shrimp and shared it. Was excellent. Nice view of the river. One my friends also had a chicken dish which she enjoyed very much. When we were getting directions from Onstar it was funny when the attendant who was looking up our directions asked if we were really going... More
We had lunch here on a Friday and it was pretty busy. We had a short wait but it was so worth it. We started with the Alligator appetizer and it was delicious. The crawfish platter had fried tails and etouffee which was very good. The fried platter had shrimp, catfish and oysters and was also very good. The oysters... More
Went to Buzzard Billy's after a TripAdvisor search. Good choice for a great location right on the river and some good Cajun food. We would definitely go back our service was excellent and try something different like fried alligator or crawfish ettoufe.
Great Cajun food & atmosphere. We were seated quickly for a party of 7. The service was a little slow but we really did enjoy relaxing and taking our time. We were on vacation so we weren't in a super hurry!! Our waitress was very nice & helpful.

The swamp soup was unique and delicious. The jambalaya is heavy on the heat side - but tasty. We enjoyed the personalities of all... More
My husband & I couldn't decide what to get...everything on the menu sounded wonderful...settled on the fried combos. Couldn't believe how fresh the fish tasted. Our daughter got the Buffalo wings and they were hot but not so much that she couldn't eat them. Hubby got a Revolver Blood & Honey and I got the local Waco brew (can't remember... More
