Look outside on the deck if you get chance. There really are buzzards out there. Food and service was really good. we came on Sunday, they have DTV so we got to watch the games. The Rasta Pasta was good although not all that spicy.

We always take our out of town friends to this place for unique and great food. Afterward, we always enjoy the deck as we look over the side into the water at the turtles that gather below in the river.

This was my first visit, and I will definitely return. We ordered the Big Easy Rolls for an appetizer. They were huge and so good. We were almost full on those. We also ordered an entree that included a chicken breast that was tender and juicy. We were so busy visiting and relaxing in the great atmosphere that we did... More

I got the blackened catfish and it was more than blackened it was crispy. It's was just to much for me and my wife's was the same. I did have a beer while waiting for my food and it was real cold just like I like it.

My wife and I stopped on our way through Waco and had the Crescent City Chicken and it was AMAZING. I had the regular which was an excellent piece of fried chicken topped with a ponchatrain style sauce. My wife was counting calories so she had grilled chicken. The creamed corn and vegetables we good as well. The location is... More

Had lunch on Veterans Day with family. Beautiful view of the Brazos River beside the Baylor University campus. Good Cajun as expected at Buzzard Billy's - we've been to the one in Lincoln NE. Sauces were really good, and added to the taste of a good basic chicken or pasta. Price was as expected considering the location, view, and quality... More

A bus tour group of 44 arrived and all seated at the same time. Dinner was served within a reasonable time frame, and there were no complaints regarding the quality or quantity of food. A great place to go for casual dining.

We love coming here--great food, the location is pretty, perched over the Brazos River like it is, and the service was great. I got an appetizer and sweet potato fries, and my friend got the shrimp boil. We had lots of leftovers! We always sit outside, and the waiter will bring you a basket of stale bread that you can... Indoor/outdoor place on the river. A bit challenging to find the parking lot, but worth the effort. Typical hipster bar menu. Lots of beer. Lots of fried options, but you don't come here for the food. Good experience. Better for the college crowd, I expect, than for the seniors.
