Sit outside on the deck and watch the turtles sun bath whilst you sip your ice tea with this Louisiana style resturant. Large helpings of food, and very tasty at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place

Buzzard Billy's has been in Waco for a long time, but used to be in a little "hole in the wall" location. Now it is in a much larger, waterfront, facility, that houses many more customers, but lacks the original charm. It is definitely not for those that need gluten free food...everything is pretty much battered and deep fried. It... More

If you go here you'll get more than enough to eat. I had the blackened tilapia and it was delicious. One of our party had hush puppies and I got to try them they were awesome.

This location has been a hot spot for me for 35 years. The atmosphere alone is worth the stop. Good variety of food and good, fast service have been the norm for the past 10 years. On calm days, you can't beat eating on the deck. Kids can enjoy feeding the ducks below.

5 family members were in town and wanted seafood. Two of us got oyster poboys. The buns were soggy and mashed flat and the oysters overcooked. The cheese soup was quite tasty. The alligator appetizers were little crumbly pieces. The bacon wrapped jalapeño appetizers were very good. The gumbo was terrible. So disappointed.

Read the reviews before going to eat here. We liked the idea of eating on the deck or at the bar so we were not deterred by those that were negative. Our service was great and the food came out in a timely manner and was hot and tasty. We loved the fried gator appetizer and it was actually some... More

We ate here on a long weekend trip to Waco. We went late on a Thursday night, no problems getting in. We tried to order local whiskey but they did not carry it. We then tried a local beer, but the keg had went bad. gettinggettingin

When for lunch The Alligator appetizers were nice different but batter and tasty. Had poor boy it was dulling and so much The atmosphere was casual. You can eat inside or outside patio over looking the river The wait staff were friendly and fast. It is a pain to find but worth it

Just stopped in while in from out of town . What a great place. Ryan greeted us when we got here and took care of us. We just had beers, but enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks !

Food is ok if you actually get what you order. Service is terrible. Wait time are terrible. The only people that eat here are tourist and people passing thru.

Thank Donald O
