I have been a customer here several times and it really does deserve all five stars and No. 1 restaurant in Waco. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are air conditioned. The food is fantastic. It is fresh and grown from the farms surrounding Waco. This place fills up very fast, so my recommendation is to get a... More

The restaurant service and food were wonderful. We were seated right away; waitress was there in a second, appetizer and drinks were ordered and came quickly. Food ordered; didn't take long at all. Delicious lunch!!

Very, very good food. Pricy, but very good. Both lunch visits I've made were met with sizable crowds. Having to wait to be seated though gave us time to look around & enjoy a beautiful day outside in their gorgeous surroundings. A very nice place to visit. We'll be back ! LW, Waco.

Been there many times. All the food is grown on site. Nothing like fresh! Everything is fresh....they raise the animals for the meat, make their own cheese, bake the bread from home grown grain that was milled in their mill, grow their vegetables. Can't get fresher that Homestead Heritage.

The food was fresh & delicious. The tacos were very spicy, typical of Jamican Jerk. I love spicy food but some may not be able to handle the intensity of flavor & spice. A party of ten & everyone seemed to enjoy their sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, tacos & refreshing tea. Portions are large & prices are fairly cheap. Make sure... More

We were thrilled with our lunch at Cafe Homestead. The food was delicious including the special wrap of the day with locally grown, organic vegetables and chicken. Save room for dessert - coconut cream pie and peanut butter pie were mouthwatering. Service was great and the atmosphere is cozy country.

This is now my new favorite place for lunch. Decently priced, good quality food, genuinely sweet waitstaff. It is one of the best kept secrets in the Waco area. Definitely worth the drive. I debated on sharing my thoughts here, because some things are better left a secret. But they are consistently good and an experience like this should be... More

Lovely restaurant not far from Waco. The food is fresh and its always tasty. Service can be slow. My problem is always refills. Its a pet peeve of mine. But I think one person should go around the restaurant refilling glasses. I realize that the wait staff is busy but its hard to eat without liquid. Make sure to try... More

My husband and I and some friends visited Cafe Homestead on a Saturday afternoon. We got there early for lunch and just happened to pick the right day because they were celebrating their annual Sorghum Festival. My husband and I split the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Tacos! Best taco I have ever had! The chicken was moist and flavorful. Not sure... More
