We loved the food here!! Had the rib plates and they were some of the biggest, meatiest ribs ever. Super tender. The smoked Turkey breast and brisket were phenomenal too. Super moist and tender. The white potato salad was incredible as was the Mac n...cheese. Very friendly people too. Go!!!More

I had a combo plate of brisket and smoked turkey, with a side of yellow potato salad. He had brisket and the sausage combo with a side of yellow and white potato salad. I also selected the new menu item...Mac and cheese. Nothing to write...home about. BarBQ sauce was excellent. The place was very clean, service was quick.More

I was very disappointed in the quality. We ordered the small family pack - one normal sized rib and two very small rib pieces. Hardly any brisket. Frankly, I was embarrassed. The texture of the banana pudding was a little gritty to me. I don’t...care for the mealy texture of their style of potato salad (they process the potatoes into tiny pieces, no chunks) but it tasted very good. I tried as I live near Waco but there are many better places for bar-be-que.More

Just really good food. Our son and daughter-in-law live near here with three kids. We get a family pack, around $59 but works for two meals for four adults and three kids. Lean brisket and jalapeño sausage are hard to beat. Steady business but not...crazy busy. Just show up, order, out the door in five minutes. Bring cash for a tip. My wife loves the cole slaw, pinto beans are great.More

We were in town for the day, read some reviews on line decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The ribs, brisket and sausage were wonderful. Generous servings, could not eat it all. Great food! Uncle Dan was so friendly, could tell we were...first timers, and stopped to chat and make recommendations! Thank you! We will be back!More

Nothing fancy, but just good food. We were tired of Christmas fare and wanted some Barbecue. This is close to my son’s house. We got a pound of lean brisket and a pound of jalapeño sausage. Both were perfect, sides were great. Servers capable and...friendly. Highly recommended.More

hands down some of the best ribs i've had, tried a bit of the very good brisket too. The interior has a down-home feel, and was recently renovated. and the employees were kind

We went into Uncle Dan's because my husband drives by it every day on his way to work. He had seen people smoking food and thought it would be a fun place to try. We each got something different: I got sausage; he got ribs....The food was very bland and surprisingly boring. My sausage tasted like a hot dog and the sauce reminded me of ketchup. My husband's ribs were decent and were smoky...hence the three star rating. The sides were okay, but lacking in flavor. If the price had been about $10 less, it would have been a good value, but we paid over $25 for the food.More

My husband and I are playing a game where we draw a letter and go to a new restaurant that starts with that letter. When we drew “U”, we were stumped, but are so glad we found Uncle Dan’s! Good food, reasonable prices, generous portions,...and a comfortable atmosphere all make this a great place to grab some lunch or dinner. Just good, “down home” bbq and fixins’.More
