Lucky they decided to open for Mother's Day. Many places closed on Sunday. We had just arrived that day. Very good salads. Linguine with clams delicious as was Fettuccine Alfredo. Quick service.

The greater Waco area is not blessed with quality eateries, but Di Campli's is the exception. Everything I've tried on their menu has been delicious. The owner Mossimo is a kind and gentle soul. Do yourself a favor and have a meal at DiCamplis.
Excellent restaurant to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Great food and service. Our waiter was tops. They remembered a special cake decoration with 50th on it and a treat of gelato for Karen. Had a great time there! Lots of people there already at 5:30...Will return again!!More
Atmosphere was very nice. Bruschetta very good but the bread a little thicker than necessary. My husband and I split the lasagna and there was more than enough to satisfy. Very meaty delicious sauce. Just a couple of complaints. Very very short pour of your...$13 house Chianti Classico. Instead of a decent pour and a $26 sale for two glasses, you lost out on a sale because of the stingy pour. Also we did not order the extra plate of toasted baguette with oil. We asked our server Gaige if bread came with the meal and he said yes. We thought it was nice that he brought an extra plate of a couple pieces of toasted baguette only to find an extra $2.50 charge on our bill. We were just passing through town on our way to Austin and if we come through Waco again on our way home, I don’t think we’d be back for another meal.More
Met a friend here today to celebrate my birthday for lunch. I have been wanting to go here for quit sometime. The waiter was amazing! He knew each dish we questioned and was very knowledgeable. We ordered the Chef's soup of the day, and pizza....This wasn't just your ordinary soup and pizza. They were both a cut above what we were expecting. The soup was chicken based with risotto and pizza was so good....you could tell they were freshly made and out of this world! They know what they are doing here. We have found us a new outstanding restaurant!More
This restaurant deserves a higher rating in my opinion. They’ve done a nice job with the interior, despite the location in a strip center. It is a bit noisy, but that is just to be expected from a restaurant it was pretty much full. Has...an outdoor patio, but frankly, a view of part cars doesn’t appeal to me, so I would suggest sitting inside. Our server, Thomas, was excellent. The owner/manager came by and made sure everything was going well, and even cleared some dirty dishes. Nice touch. Excellent menu, with lots of choices. I had the arugula salad, with citrus, which was nicely done. But, I have to say that my fish, halibut, serve with broccolini and risotto, was fabulous, and I enjoyed the capers on top. I had several pieces of pizza, which others at the table had ordered. I’d give the pizza an A+, fantastic crust, and a nice amount of cheese. Well done. I believe we ordered every dessert. They were all good, although I didn’t have the cheesecake, as I am allergic to raspberries and it had a raspberry drizzle. I will definitely be back. A wonderful addition to the Waco restaurant scene.More
A real Italian chef and authentic Italian menu in Waco! The four of us had cioppini, spinach salad, meatballs, veal, and ahi tuna. Everyone raved about their entree. The atmosphere, service, and food was something you expect in a big city. Once we tasted our...meal we knew why every table was full in the middle of the week. I suggest reservations. We will be back soon! You won’t be disappointed.More
Incredible food and service. Hand made pasta and sauces. Sangria was lovely and the meatball appetizers were wonderful. We had Bolenase and Lazagnae. Large portions Incredible flavors. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent service, pleasing interior design. Everyone enjoyed their food except me. I picked lasagna and I did not like the flavor. The appetizers and other main dishes were delicious.
Decided to do lunch before a much needed trip to H‑E‑B, since we had been out of town for a week. We find that eating before grocery shopping saves quite a bit of money. My wife had the spinach salad with pistachios and shrimp. I...had the burger and French fries. We shared and took enough home for lunch the next day. Great service. Signed up for their rewards program as well. What a great addition to the area. Very pleasant and highly recommended.More
My friend and I ate there Tuesday night and the antipasta appetizer and spaghetti were fabulous. It was topped off with a wonderful tiramisu. Prices were reasonable and service was great. We will go back next time in Waco.
Fabulous dinner. Great service. We were here to celebrate our anniversary. I had chicken Marsala. He had lasagna. Both were very tasty. Manager celebrated our anniversary with tiramisu. Yum.
We made reservations a couple of weeks in advance with no problem. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our sever, Tim, was very attentive and had a great attitude. The wine selection was amazing. They have a full bar too. Our dinners were presented...beautifully and tasted even better. Tiramisu and espresso were tasty finishing touches. Prices were very reasonable. We will most definitely return and I will also encourage friends to visit. Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere.More
Went on a cold, rainy Wednesday night and it was so worth it. Shared the Grilled Portobello and Burrata and Saltimbocca as a main. Everything was delicious, including the Italian Margarita. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night but we were seated immediately because...of our reservation. We were very comfortable with the distance between tables and our waiter was very attentive. Can't wait to go back!More
Thank you so much, Laura! We are glad you enjoyed your experience and look forward to serving you again soon.
Our first trip to Di Campli was for lunch on the Monday after Christmas. My wife and I were pleased with all aspects of the meal. We had been waiting for an excellent Italian restaurant in Waco for a decade. As such we were apprehensive...about a new trendy restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised! We were greeted and seated immediately upon entry. We chose the enclosed patio for dining. The menu had a variety of selections. We shared calamari, a salad ( arugula, beet, ricotta, and sweet onion), and the saltimbocca with green beens served over mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent. The servings were large. In fact, the salad was giant and each ingredient was perfect. The calamari was lightly battered and tender. The dipping sauces were sumptuous. It is difficult to make saltimbocca without oversalting it. Di Campli's was perfectly seasoned. The service was great. The management, and staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. The only downsides were the slightly higher than expected prices and a cut of veal that could have been more tender. Those aspects are not worth a rating downgrade and are things that can be corrected over time. Hoping to return soon for more excellent food.More
