I chose this place because of the outdoor decor, menu and I was searching for open spots in Waco on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Parking lot isn't very big, however there are plenty of spots nearby on the street & in the surrounding vicinity....It doesn't look very big on the outside, but when you enter through the doorway the place has a unique ambiance that is simply decorated yet has that artsy-installation appeal once you are indoors. I ordered the blue corn pancakes, pimento cheese grits and the scrambled eggs. The grits and scrambled eggs were side dishes and came on separate plates, however I do not mind when food touches, so I combined the food and got rid of extra plates. The grits needed some salt and same with the eggs, but was pleasantly surprised at how dense, thick, and tasty the pancakes tasted. Syrup is given in a small thimble-sized container that is fit four a mouse, not enough to be properly consumed with the pancakes served; however I am sure that more would have been given if I had asked. I sat at their bar, which is open seating, and ordered Two Weeks from Everywhere, a palatable bourbon and pear concoction that tasted perfect, garnished with a cinnamon stick for extra flavor. I ordered two, because one was not enough! They have modern pop music playing, the restaurant is clean, open and inviting, and the environment draws you in to have a good time. I am a solo traveler, and enjoyed it on my own, but this would be perfect for couples and families. Food was a good portion except for the syrup container and quite filling. I would come back for the pancakes and the bourbon.More

We had a delicious dinner and cocktails. It was the first day of the new summer menu and the staff was very knowledgeable and excited about it. Highlights were the deviled eggs and crispy chicken tenders. So good! It’s a bit off the Main Street,...but well worth the walk.More

We first started off with some amazing appetizers, the street corn and fried oyster mushrooms, off the chain! The barbecue chicken was so tender and moist. Everything we had was amazing. Service was fantastic as well. It’s a nice big open area with ample space...outside.More

Our local friend invited us to this very cool spot for lunch. Honestly we all chose different meals for lunch and everyone raved about their meals. In summary, excellent food, top notch service, very cool vibe. Highly recommended venue in Waco

We stopped for dinner here, after seking a place to stop in Waco, on our way home from Dallas. It was a delightful surprise. The food was delicious (try the burger and fries, for certain!)! And, our waiter, Jackson, was on point, along with the...young lady who brought our drinks from the bar. We appreciated the attention to the experience of dining at Milo All Day, and the great food. This will be added to our list of restaurants to recommend and revisit!More

We ate here during a girls trip to Waco and it was great! I had the Smoked Pork Hash and would highly recommend it. Just a warning, it is spicy! We tried the pimento hash and wow, order it, you will be glad you did!...We had reservations and arrived about 30 minutes early and we were seated right away. Our waitress was excellent, as was the food. I recommend eating here when visiting Waco.More

Fantastic food! Maybe a little expensive for what you get but it's a unique experience in Waco. An ever-changing menu means it's a new experience every time.

Busy, but worth it. The food and service were great! Be ready for a noisy atmosphere. Two of us have gluten issues and the server was very sure to make note for the chef.

The food here was really good-- my wife had the Farmer's Daughter salad with fried chicken added and hugely enjoyed it-- I had the MAD burger, which was a handful but quite good with their homemade pickles and sauces. For a starter we had Texas...Caviar, which was a bit different than normal and very good as a result. Service was good; while my wife and I did not indulge, some very good looking cocktails were coming from the bar too. Two mains and a starter and two drinks for lunch came to $65, good for such a good lunch.More

Absolutely the best food we had during our stay in Waco! Every local we asked said not to miss the Brussel sprouts at Milo’s!! We thought they were exquisite….. oven roasted with a sorghum Chile sesame sauce over them! We also tried the deviled eggs...which our waiter, John recommended and they were wonderful too! For our meal we had the Nashville Hot chicken tacos and they were awesome. Don’t be scared of the “Nashville hot” as it wasn’t true Nashville hot just a little spicy! Our waiter, John (the tall cute John) was attentive and readily gave his suggestions. All in all this was a great meal with impeccable service!! We had reservations at 11:00 and were seated immediately. Having eaten at a couple of the top rated restaurants of Waco including including one associated with the Silos, this is my number one choice! Highly recommend!More

Our server was simply rude and she was training someone else. When asked about alternative milks, an enthusiastic no. When asked about gluten free options, another enthusiastic “no”. When asked about making eggs into a simple omelette, again “no”. When asked to substitute a side...salad or fruit for bread… you guessed it… no. No explanation,no options given. Very poor service. This was a far cry from the amazing service at magnolia table the day before. The food is ok, decor adorable, but won’t be back without significant changes.More

Live in Waco . Finally came to try Milo at 4:00 on Saturday. In the summer. Guess what - they close from 3:00-5:00. Big disappointment. To be closed on a summer weekend in the city that is the number 1 tourist destination in Texas???

Very busy because it's one of the few places open on Sunday. But I do not recommend, The were not meat alternatives offered, and they simply did not have any fruit (I requested a side of fruit instead of meat). They were "out of waffles"...so we had limited options for our meal. The food was bland and there was literally grease dripping off the bacon. The food was overpriced for the area and what was received.More
