As an Australian this is what i expected the USA to be. Burgers, shakes and a fry up. I Can only speak for the shake and tator tots. The missus had a butter pecan shake and i had a choc strawberry shake. Both 10/10... but they aren't what aussies call a milkshake. More of a thickshake. Never the less amazing.... More

My family ate here for lunch while driving through Waco. Health Camp is a part of Waco history. I think the nostalgia of it is the main reason people eat here. The burgers and hot dog we had were good, fresh and served quickly. The fries were pretty average. They could have used some seasoning and were a little undercooked.... More

This is my kind of health camp! Greasy burgers and fries and tots and shakes done right!!! The burgers were some of the best old time diner burgers I've had in a long time. Great flavor and nicely done. Even the lettuce and tomato were fresh and pretty and flavorful, which is a rarity in diner burgers! The tots were... More

What a neat place to visit and eat. Definitely 50's diner vibe; place has been in business forever evidently. Photos on the wall look like Waco grew up around it. I ordered the Cheeseburger and fries and a chocolate malt and swear I was transported to wearing bobby socks and saddle shoes.

Went to Health Camp because I always heard their shakes were something to remember. The burgers were really good, however the strawberry shake was outstanding.

This place has been in Waco for ever, since I went to school there. Been a long time since I have been. Pretty simple here....this is a burger shack. The burgers are pretty good, not huge but pretty tasty. The onion rings and French fries, well they are out of a bag and into the fryer. Nothing special. The real... More

Burgers were ok. The grilled cheese was super yummy. Shakes were delicious, especially the vanilla shake. Dive atmosphere.

A throw back to the 40s or 50s this place had quick, friendly, service with a smile. We all got hamburgers and shakes. The burgers were made to order and they got all eight right on the first try. Usually never happens with this picky group. Lol. The shakes were super thick. The chocolate was made with real chocolate syrup... More

Awesome local institution that has been here since the 40s. Great basic burgers and about 30 malt and shake flavors to choose from. The Banana Pudding Malt is crazy good!
