I always order Brisket Butcher's Choice and the Smoked Turkey. Occasionally I alter and add Sausage and Ribs. But the Turkey is the best you will ever eat, Too Much Smoke can irritate me and I never have that problem with Rudy's.

Really great Bar-B-Que at a reasonable price. I had the regular sausage and my husband had the lean brisket and both were really good! Nice relaxing atmosphere.

Stopped here on the way to Dallas. We ate the brisket and ribs and the meat was tender and juicy. We also had a side order of beans. The beans had a taste of BBQ sauce with beans. I have had better beans and cooked better beans. The dining area had plenty of tv's to watch news or sports.

I'm not much of a BBQ person, but my family recently met some friends at Rudy's. Everyone enjoyed the BBQ and sides. I enjoyed the potato salad and beans. It has long tables with red checkered table cloths. Very Country feeling! Nice atmosphere and good food.

Very good bbq. Yes, it is a chain bbq joint, but it is good quality food. The baked potato with dry chopped brisket is amazing! It comes loaded with butter, cheese, and sour cream. Top with some bbq sauce and it is yummy....

This was our first visit to this Rudy's. It is located near a traffic circle, but it wasn't hard to navigate. The food and service were great. Loved the brisket and creamed corn. It's a fun place to visit!

By the time you go through the line to get your food, then your silverware then coffee which is further away, your food is cold.

Set up is confusing and staff isn't as helpful as they could be to direct those that aren't familiar with the restaurant. Food was ok..restaurant is clean ..just not what I expected...

Recently visited on a Sunday night prior to a college tour. Decent BBQ that is purchased by the half pound. Be prepared to share as we way over bought! Very "schticky" as you eat off of brown paper with plastic ware at communal tables. It's probably slightly above average but nothing amazing - just something that everyone could agree upon.

Thank Penny J

Just north of San Antonio, at the edge of the Texas Hill Country, sits the small community of Leon Springs. Founded in the 1800s by Max Aue, Leon Spring's cityscape changed when Max's son, Rudolph, opened a one-stop gas station, garage, and grocery store. Bar-B-Q was added to the operation in 1989, and Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q has been serving up tasty food ever since. The same original recipes that built Rudy's Leon Springs' reputation are now available throughout the Southwest. Our pits are 100% wood fired with oak, a slower burning wood than the mesquite used by others. Along with time and oak, we cook with a dry spice that ensures each plate of Rudy's Bar-B-Q is perfectly ready for you. Apply some of our famous "Sause" and dinner is served.
