went for dinner with brother and a fellow hunter. We almost walked out when seeing place was a bit dingy and I saw on Trip Advisor that the ratings were not all that great. Rated #5 restaurant in a tiny town. My food, enchilada and whole beans, came out warm not hot. brothers fajitas were hot and pretty good. I... More

To start off the waiter was disinterested and almost rude. It wasn't busy when we stopped in at around 2pm, only one other couple and they were half way done with their meal. We both ordered Margarita's and our meals. 10 minutes later the margarita's were brought and they were horrible, we sent them back. The service was terrible, the... More

Ordered delivery and food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, it just wasn't very good. Gordita was terrible, enchilada not much better with a weird taste to it and just no flavor in either one. Beans were absolutely plain, plain, plain. Rice was ok and taco was ok. Went off of trip advisor on this one and was steered wrong this time. My... More

On a cross-country drive, stopped for gasoline and were looking for a place for a bite around 8:30 pm on a weekday. A freeway sign advertised Chuy's, so we stopped in. Quite a find! Neat old place, and by looking at other reviews, I wasn't the only person stopping in while on a long drive! Had a great combo dinner,... More

We decided to give it another try and it was night and day better then the last time. The food was very tasty and spicy with excellent service. If you are John Madden fan you should definitely stop in.

Stopping in Van Horn we always take a few days to see the surrounding area and to enjoy the local cuisine. One of our favorites is Chuys. If you like your food hot hot hot, try the Madden Special hot, or if you like it cooler, try the Madden special minus the hot pepper. Have eaten there many times and... More

After 8 hours on road we were pretty hungry. We were trying to make it to El Paso to eat, but decided we could not wait. I was thinking that we would have to be happy with a stop at Wendy's, but instead we decided to check out Chuy's. We were pleasantly surprised to find that their food was very... More

We have stopped here many times going cross country. It gets a bit more shabby each time. My flat enchilada plate was good and being a spicy freak, the red sauce was very good. My wife being a vegetarian, decided that she doesn't want to stop anymore. The staff were friendly, but they need to update the grubby rug.

Traveling cross country to visit family in Arizona after a long drive your options are Van Horn or another two hours to El Paso. Van Horn is a very small town and few eatery options are available. We tried to find a couple on TA but were closed or were inaccurate. This little Mexican place has been a fixture here... More
