This place was nothing special. Just mediocre food. The ambiance was ok. Only ate here once. Didn't care to go back

Food was excellent. Online orders accepted. They delivered to our hotel. The delivery guy was very friendly. Try the cheesecake!

Good Mexican food in the "John Madden Hall of Fame". A nice find in the middle of West Texas just off I-10. The gordita was excellent and my wife's burrito was also good. The decor was aged but a fun funky collection of John Madden memorabilia. Great for a Mexican food loving football fan!

Good reliable food and service for a fair price. We travel this part of I-10 from to time and have stopped at Chuy's several times. We had a light lunch of tacos and a taco salad. All were good, service was good. Salsa was excellent. Taco salad shell was not the typical hard taco. It was softer more flour like... More

Small funky Mexican restaurant that also has - says my husband - a great hamburger and fresh cut fries. You can't go wrong with the platter. It has a bit of everything and it is all good, especially green chili stew!

Cool roadside stop on route to El Paso. Chowed down a beef and chicken burrito (tasty👍👍👍) Quick and friendly service will not let you down. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped at Chuy's after a day of sight seeing at the Guadalupe Mountain National Park. I loved the food! It was true home made Mexican food. I am very picky about my Mexican food since growing up on the border and this food was outstanding. Not only was the food delicious but the service was just... More

First off...great service...fast and friendly. 5*. Food 3*. Very good green chile but more like a stew with potatos. I DO NOT LIKE PREMADE CORN TACO SHELLS...unless I go to Taco Bell. Good restruant tacos need shredded meat cooked in a corn tortilla. This taco was not. Preformed taco shell with ground beef. Enchalada was ok...chicken a little bland. Beans... More

Casual, sports decor. Uniquely painted walls. Standard mexican fare. The gordita was small but tasty, in something like a corn biscuit. The best thing was,the green chili. It was very meaty .

On a recent trip to El Paso we stopped in Van Horn and went to Chuy's. I thought of this place was the place John Madden always talked about. It was pretty good. Good tacos. Good enchiladas. Really tasty chips and salsa. It will be a future stop. I was really surprised.

Chuy's is a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant that was opened in 1959. Come visit us. We offer homemade Mexican food, service, and great atmosphere. We have been called an oasis in the middle of the desert on several occasions.
Many famous people have eaten at our establishment over the years. John Madden named our restaurant as the "All Madden Hall of Fame" in 1994. There are many other celebrities that have visited us and you can see pictures of them on our wall as you walk in. Every customer that walks in is a celebrity to us. Come on in sit, relax and enjoy our variety of Mexican and domestic beers, margaritas and drinks.
