So glad they offer a salad bar and soup. Ate a couple of times and no complaints. Leslie was very friendly. Soup changes daily except Thursday is always tomato basil. We had broccoli cheese. All good!

I've eaten there several times and always have enjoyed my meal. The chicken club is fantastic! Everything is always fresh and yummy.

I consider myself to be quite a good judge of burgers and this place was over the top great! Their menu descriptions are on point and combinations of ingredients are unique and original. In addition to delicious burgers, they also have the standard sides as well as multiple other sandwich options. Only down side is they are only open at lunch!

Day in day out the best sandwiches in town...and HOMEMADE potato chips. Can’t miss with any sandwich, but need a strong heart for the BLT😜

If you're looking for a straightforward and good lunch in Utopia, this place will treat you right. Attached to the general store, it's not fancy inside with a half dozen tables and a good menu with excellent burgers. The staff is super friendly, and you order at the counter, then your food is made to order. My friend had the John Wayne Burger, I had the Johnny Rodriguez, and both of us were not only very pleased, but very full. The buns are really good and you get plenty of steak cut fries. I believe they are only open for lunch, highly recommended.

This restaurant was so good we went on our way through town and coming back on our way home. I rarely say this - every single thing was perfect. We got the John Wayne Burger. The bun was a taste of home made yeast rolls. The burger was fresh ground. The fries were done to golden brown perfection and were served hot. The atmosphere was friendly and the people were helpful. Wish we had one in my hometown.

This is a very welcome addition to Utopia's dining scene. Open only for lunch, it has great burgers and sandwiches, and a nice little salad bar. Daily soups are usually homemade and tasty -- today was chili and cornbread. They have recently added some yummy tacos, too. Ingredients are fresh and the dining area is clean. Love this place! Since we're locals, we can recommend nearly everything on the menu.

I visited The Lunch Box on September 23, 2017 while visiting friends in Utopia, Texas. I had arrived in the afternoon the day before and got to explore the town and heard about The Lunch Box that was right next to The General Store.
We went for lunch and the chicken tacos were some of the best I have ever had! There are many interesting items to choose from on the menu. The eatery itself is small and quaint, yet the food is delicious and I got to share a wonderful meal with friends while exploring the town of Utopia. The Lunch Box is in the same building as the town's general store, all accessible by a shared entrance.
The Lunch Box hours are Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM.The staff are friendly and personable. This Mom and Pop eatery is truly a little gemstone of a find for delicious food!
