I got fajitas from here and they were surprisingly good. The chicken was juicy and not at all overcooked. I got the food to go though so I'm not sure about the service or atmosphere.

A family favorite for years, we recently stopped by for Sunday lunch. Lunch special was a two choices from many traditional Mexican entrees accompanied with choice of Mexican or Cillantro lime rice along with one choice of refried beans, charro beans, black beans or tortilla soup (The tortilla soup was excellent!) for under $10. The meal is provided with complimentary... More

I love this place. Every time I'm in Tyler I eat here! It's so dang good. From the chips and salsa, fresh tortillas, cheese dip, guacamole, quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, I mean I could go on for days! You can't go wrong with anything you eat here.

I am new to Tyler, and drive by this restaurant daily on my way to work. Today was the day I decided to try this restaurant. I was not impressed! Upon entering we were seated near some fireplace that was a parking space for empty chairs. The server placed some chips and salsa in front of us. Then she took... More

We were staying at Holly Ranch Lake about 25-30 minutes away and headed out looking for some good Mexican food and we were not disappointed. Wife had fajitas. I had the Laredo. I remember telling the manager how good the taco meat was specifically. It was just flavored perfectly. Would go back if we visit there again.

Ok so I realize I have a problem understanding why there is squeeze margarine and something called honey syrup on the table. Couldn't they just provide real butter and honey? And offering honey mustard dressing for the fajita salad? These are not items I think of when I think Tex-Mex. I had the 1 cheese enchilada with rice and beans.... More

I reviewed this restaurant last year, giving it a Very Good rating based on the food quality. I am writing this one to comment on what a great job Derick, the GM does here. The food is on the high side price-wise, but worth it due to the freshness and high quality ingredients. An example is Posado's guacamole. It is... More

This is my family's favorite place to visit for Tex-Mex style Mexican food. Great neighborhood vibe, fresh made chips and salsa, great tortillas (made right there inside he restaurant) and sopapillas! Our favorite is to order chicken and bean nachos with black beans and share for a meal. Great place for a relaxing meal!

You can find Pasados in other cities. Mercados was always (to me) the flagship of the company that eventually made the Pasados chain. As the flagship, I think the food at Mercados is just a little better, but Pasados is a close second.
