First of all. It's worth a trip here just because of its unique location. It's in the old terminal of the Tyler airport. And it's right next to a near little air museum. At the restaurant you have perfect views of the runway and the occasional take off and landing. As for the food - they're famous for their Reuben... More

After a Saturday morning of errands in Tyler, we decided to stop at the Skyline en route home. We enjoyed a Black and Blue Salad (Chopped Steak and Blue Cheese over romaine and Spring Greens) and a Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. Both were fresh and freshly done, with an eye - appealing presentation. As confirmed chocoholics, we had to... More

The Skyline Cafe is a way out of Tyler, unless you go to the airport or happen to be in the area it is a ways to drive just for a meal. The food is just average and the service is slow. The prices are reasonable and the menu is very limited. Generally the cafe is only open for a... More

Breakfast before visiting the museum. Food was good. Service was very slow tough to get coffee. Maybe we was there during slow times.

As a kid, my grandma was a cook at a small-town diner and this place took me right back to some of the best comfort food I've had. My son had the Reuben and I had a Turkey Burger. We received big portions of very tasty food. Cooked just right and served up with a giant beverage. They had a... More

Very good casual place for a sandwich or salad for lunch, lots of choices and platters available. Famous for their Reuben sandwich. Pleasant casual dining , quick service adjacent to flight museum, enormous glasses of ice tea and nice portions. Seems popular with locals, open for dinner again with many choices. Spotless and very nice. Worth a trip out a... More

We visited the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Tyler, TX, and stayed for lunch at the Skyline Cafe. We ordered Reuben and tuna sandwiches. Both sandwiches were very tasty. It was a quaint Americana experience. The service and food were good - we would return for the food.

Great Food at a reasonable price! Visit and tour the air museum and top it off with a great lunch. The cakes are delicious and homemade.

My family and I love eating here. The are a lot of options and I've eaten everything from salads to burgers and wraps. I've never been disappointed with the food. It is all freshly made and the cakes are out of this world!!!! My only complaint is it can be a little expensive!

If you like fresh, not packaged or frozen, this is a good place to go. It's clean, offering quite good basic food. I had good quantity of meats, crispy lettuce and tomato on my club sandwich and very good chips. Drinks are large. Others with us had other items and were equally pleased. Severs were quite good when we were... More
