Been here a couple of times while traveling with my husband. Love the food and the atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Has a cute garden center/fruit stand next door, too.

Ordered the Chili Relleno with ground beef. It was inedible. It tasted like it had been reheated numerous times. The pepper and breading were soggy and stale. The ground beef was dry and tasteless. I hoped that the sides, at least would be OK, but...More

Ordered beef tacos. You would think that if you are getting tacos that the open part of the taco would be facing up not down and refried beans all over one side where you can't get your fingers around it. Such a mess. The tacod...More

Four birthdays brought 17 of our Houston family together for a late lunch at Julio's. A couple of our group are Mexican, and this was one of their favorite places. (My rule of thumb: When choosing an ethnic restaurant, I always look for people of...More

We met a group of 10 here. Seated us fast, great chips, guacamole was okay, drinks good. Service was fast...seemed to want us to hurry up & finish. Even removed the water glasses - guess that was our clue to "move it"

We go to Julios if we're too tired to drive 10 miles for better Mexican food. Nice people, nice patio for cool days, but food fairly bland for Tex Mex in the area.

I admit, I don't honestly know if this is a good Mexican restaurant or not but we really do enjoy the food. Every meal has been delicious! The only problem with Julios is other people's children if you're seated in the patio area. Six of...More

We were in Houston to stay at Salem Lutheran Church while assisting with Hurricane Harvey recovery. Julio’s was recommended highly and located nearby. We enjoyed the warm red salsa and chips and margaritas as we watched several large parties gather for parties. I enjoyed the...More

My wife and I ate here on a Friday night. It was pretty crowded but were still seated immediately. Chips and salsa were good and so were both of our entrees, nachos and tortilla soup. Highly recommended.
