The owner was very rude, attacking me for giving my honest opinion/ review on his web. Even called me "Dumb" I had agreed with another comment, the meat was too salty, And I am a saltoholic. I think it is over priced. It is not...steak, it is bbq. It was tender, the ribs were not falling off the bone tender though. Everyone's preference is different. The bbq sauce has alot of vinegar.More

A hidden gem, the staff were pleasant from providing assistance at time of ordering to delivery of food. I had never really tasted smoked burgers but I would return for more. The food was hot and tasty and did not disappoint.

This has a wonderful casual atmosphere. The beef is incredible, the sauces and buns are fresh. The onion rings were the best. I'll be back for sure.

Much like their BBQ restaurant around the corner, this isn’t ordinary food. It’s really a one of a kind experience. The complex flavor built into this burger and the quality of the meat is incredible. The basic burger stands out on its own without any...help from condiments, although I poured on some their cilantro ranch to try something new (amazing taste). Can’t wait to try their other burgers too. If you are local, it’s definitely a must visit and if you’re farther away it’s definitely worth the drive...especially since they have Tejas Chocolate and BBQ around the corner too.More

We stopped in today after church. The burgers are amazing! We had a party of 10 and they put a couple tables together for us. Between us we got the Smokehouse, Al Carbon, OTB, and the Damage Control (no bun). They were all excellent! My...husband says the sliced flank steak on the Carbon has great flavor. They had a key lime pie shake that we didn’t get to try but the people one table over from us had it and said it was excellent. We will be back!More

Tejas is located on the main drag in Tomball and would be easy to miss if you didn't look for it. We heard about how good it was so my wife and I tried it. We're really happy we did. It is a small footprint...and at least the times we have been had to wait a few moments for seating after ordering. The burgers are awesome. We really like the quality of the meat and buns. They have a number of different burger styles and allow you to dress your own at a small condiment stand. They serve a number of craft soda's along with some standard bottle drinks. The prices are in line with what you would expect from high quality burgers. We are happy that they have opened, have been back a number of times both on the weekend and wekkdays. Definetly worth the visit.More

I was in an adventurous meal mood when dropping by the Tejas Burger Joint this time. I had savored the tasty Native Texan burger with poblanos ground into the meat. I had been swept away by the caesar salad burger on a bun. But, tonight...it was to be the something more... the smoked then grilled pastrami burger. Fresh ground patty from their own homemade pastrami, smothered in homemade sauerkraut and carmelized onions on grilled rye bread. Oh my my! A side of onion rings and I was good to go. Follow the smell of the smoker to Tejas Burger Joint on Main Street in downtown Tomball, Texas.More

My wife and I went to this newly opened burger joint last Sunday. We had heard good things about it and were hoping for a positive experience. We were not dissapointed. The resturant is a little small and it was jammed with the Sunday crowd....After ordering we were able to find a table quickly and sat down to wait for our meal. The burgers were delivered in about 15 minutes and we added the fixin's from the condiment bar. As a life long burger eater, I can honestly say that this was one of the best I ever had (Old Town Burger w/cheese). The angus beef was juicy and smokey to the taste. We will definetly go the Tejas again.More

Had been to their BBQ place and heard from friends this place had opened so decided to drive over and try it. Very glad we made the trip because it is awesome. Located on Main Street across from the market makes it ideal for shopping...and seeing old town. Do not be in a hurry because patience is needed due to volume of customers coming in to eat and the amount of seating space. Very much worth the patience. If looking for something to try and enjoy the many benefits of wonderful location then definitely stop by.More

The award winning Tejas Chocolate + Barbecue in Tomball, Texas has just created its own competition. The Tejas Burger Joint on Main Street takes hamburgers to a new level. Smoked before hitting the grill, these burgers are something far beyond simply good. Today was the...Native Texan burger ... a full half pound pattie with pepper Jack, poblanos, avacado and more. Add the tots fried in grease drippings from the slow smoked brisket at Tejas BBQ and you have savory combo worth the wait. The Tejas Burger Joint is at Main and Cherry in downtown Tomball... just 28 miles northwest of Houston. Shown are the Native Texan and the Smokehouse burgers.More
