We love the pulled pork sandwiches at Big Jakes BBQ. There are three (3) locations and all three are very good. With your sandwich you receive free pinto beans, onions, pickles if you dine in. Love their beans!

The restaurant itself was nice, lots of sauces, pleasant staff. The ribs were just okay. The sides were usual for most BBQ places but the pinto beans were really good. We stopped here on a 3 day BBQ road trip and it was our 2nd stop. We both agreed it was good but not a home run.

I really enjoyed my third visit to Big Jake's in Texarkana TX. I make a point to visit every time I am in town visiting my oldest daughter and family. In fact, they are the ones who introduced us to it. The beef brisket is some of the most tender, tasty, smoky, delicious stuff I have ever put in my... More

We had plenty of BBQ on this trip, but Jake's was my favorite! They had the best fried okra, that I've ever had. The okra still tasted fresh, and the breading was predominant and delightfully seasoned. My tacos were good on their own, but when added a little bbq sauce they were over the top good. My husband enjoyed his... More

What a smoking hot deal. This food is amazing and fresh. Gotta try the homemade Pinto beans with sausage. The baked taters are like Texas size for real. So yummy. We will go back soon.

Always good bar-b-que and always consistent at every location. Hard to say which is better...the ribs or the brisket or the turkey. All are so titillating and succulent on the tongue.

Everytime I go to Ashdown, Arkansas, I must eat here! They have the absolute best BBQ on that side of town. They have great potato salad! It's one of their side dishes. It is not mom's potato salad, but it is very close. I absolutely love Big Jakes brisket, ribs, sausages, etc. It's really yummy 😊

I tried the brisket and pork bbq during my visit. The meat had great flavor with a good selection of sauces. I really enjoyed the baked beans, pinto beans and fried okra. The staff had great customer focus and the serving size of the meal was huge. I would recommend if you are in the Texarkana area.

While in Texarkana, we needed take out food for several family members and BBQ was the idea. Someone suggested Big Jake's and what a great place to go. We ordered brisket and sausage for our meats. Baked beans, Cole slaw and potato salad for sides. Plenty of food! There was plenty of BBQ sauce included. If eating in was as... More

This was the best bbq beef I've had in Texarkana. The portion was right on and the sides were great as well. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was courteous and professional. I highly recommend that you go to this restaurant.
