I've eaten here about 3 times and the food and service seems to be inconsistent with bland food being my worst complaint. This place gets packed with folks on Sundays and the parking lot is filled at lunchtime during the week when I drive by....I...More

They make an excellent home made strawberry pie as well as other ice box pies. I had the strawberry which incredible. The portions are huge so make sure you save room for desert. And the prices are a real bargain for what you get.

Hope they don't close this one too. The food was excellent and the chicken fried steak was very tender and the breading perfect. The wait staff could not be better.

No visit "back home" is complete without a trip to the Dixie Diner for catfish and twice baked potato. My aunt tells me the salmon croquettes and meatloaf are just as good as the catfish. Can't ever manage to be hungry for dessert at the...More
