Average fare food including salads, burgers, or steaks. Service was goid for a while, then she disappeared for 20 minutes or more. Had karaoke along with drinks available made for a fun time.

We had good burgers and steaks here. They have live music and a well stocked bar. Limited wine selection, if that's your thing. We were there with kids so in before 6 and out before the music.

We visited La Kiva more for the bar than the food. Limited menu but the pizza was very good. A must see when hanging in Terlingua!

The menu is limited but we had good steaks and the salsa was terrific. We were sorry not to be able to eat outside but we arrived too late.

We ate here for lunch once and twice for dinner during a week when we were hiking in Big Bend State and Federal Parks. Always nice. Very friendly. Good live music played at night. No complaints.

Great location with extraordinary style. Good steaks and salad. The yellow tail merlot dry, nice stuff. We were happy to be here again after 9 years with the same good feeling.

We had a long wait as there were 10 in our party and I expected it would take some time to get a table. However, there was plenty of dining space on the patio and one room was not being used. If there was more help, it would not have taken so long. Food was very average and it took... More

The food was quite average... don't expect anything spectacular. Our order was wrong and it took a while since it was spring break. However, the atmosphere was really neat and our kids really enjoyed it. We were even given a tour of the place. The kids were able to run around outside while we waited for our table. The live... When my hiking club was planning to be in Terlingua over spring break, I called and talked with John, the owner, and asked if he would reserve three tables on the Patio for Friday, 8:00P.M. Saint Patrick's Day. he said that he would. When we arrived, the sweet waitress said no tables were reserved, that John had failed to tell... More

Let this be a review and a note to management/owners -- Friday Fish n Chips was ok, but nothing I'd go back for (unless I was a local and couldn't get it anywhere else). The burger was not that good and a poor value. During Spring Break there wasn't enough service for the high demand, and you could FEEL the... More

The bar and restaurant at La Kiva is once again open for business after a 14 month rebuilding project. The super modern kitchen is delighting customers with our constantly changing menu. Come and visit this iconic bar. The rock walls are up to four feet thick, huge patio, parts of the bar are underground and parts are semi subterranean. Live music changes frequently. Call for up to date information.
