I really enjoy BBQ, but was not impressed with the BBQ at this restaurant. I had the BBQ Brisket and it was tough and tasteless. The staff was very unorganized and it took way too long to order and receive your food. Looking around the restaurant there were too many tables that were not occupied, but dirty dishes were left... Food our of a microwave is 10 times better. Meat was not hot, must have been sitting in a warmer oven, sauce was like ketchup but not as tasty. Won't EVER go back because so far 2 locations and same result. Service at one was fair, the other they had no clue how to take a carryout order. It was... More

This place had a very wide variety of offerings on the menu. It was pretty obvious after I tasted the BBQ, I knew it is not their main thing. It's a nice family eatery that is not a serious Texas BBQ joint. I did not like the BBQ sauce at all. The ribs were decent and seemed short on smoke... More

Stopped here at about 9:00 pm on our way back from Austin. It wasn't long before we had the restaurant to ourselves. Loved the rustic ambience with all the taxidermy and the log cabin look. Ordered some onion ring appetizers and they were great. They brought out some rolls and cornbread that you have to try. I ordered the sirloin... More

We will definitely stop here again. The food was great and the service was fabulous. Our server brought samples of several items to our table so that we could order on our next visit. The broccoli salad was the best I've ever eaten and the cornbread muffins were delicious. I wanted to stop in again on our way home to... More

I ordered the surf and turf combo (steak & shrimp). The steak was ordered med/well, pink in the middle. It was well done and so tough I could not chew it. The fried shrimp were also over cooked to a dark brown. One of the sides was mac and cheese, which was undercooked, the mac was too tough to eat.... More

Ate here several years ago, not impressed with food or service. It was like a bad cafeteria and food was cold. Decided this year to give it a new chance. WOW what a giant change. Now if you are not getting take out you are seated and waited on. Menu is about the same but food tastes so much better,... More

Have picked up BBQ here through the drive-thru on several occasions. It's not terribly fast, but they have a sign that warns you of that as you drive up. Highly recommend the BBQ stuffed baked potato!

We liked Clem Mikeskas before it got fancy. Good food, and really friendly staff. I like the animal trophies. However some folks may scratch their head about why someone would go through the effort of killing such exotic game.

The ambiance was clean and pleasant once you get passed the dozens upon dozens of dead animals hanging on the walls. The ribs were tender, the sauce was just right. It is much better than County Line and I never thought I would say that about any BBQ emporium. It is certainly on our top five list of really great... More
