Brisket was melt in your mouth tender, but just a tad dry without sauce. Beans were good if you like yours with a kick. Potato salad pretty dang good. Big Red nice n cold. Got there just before 11 and there was no line yet.

The beef brisket was solid. The beef ribs were a little fatty but also well done. After visiting heim's in fort worth this was a little disappointing even though it was good. The coleslaw was outstanding. The price for the overall experience was too high! 30$ for a beef rib is too much.

We were doing a BBQ tour on our way to San Antonio. Louie Mueller was the first on the list. The beef was Prime, it was good, but not smoky or tender, it was a bit dry. Pork ribs were good and sausage was good. Potatoe salad was just ok.

We came here today to bring our parents for their first time. The line was out the door when we arrived, but usually the line moves faster. We stood in line for over an hour to get to order our food. It was soooo hot in there today! I think they may have been understaffed. Hopefully they will address that... More

Atmosphere was great, real old time BBQ place. We found the food to be average at best and a bit over priced. Wet brisket was nice and moist, but did not detect much smoked wood flavor, which you would expect with bbq. The pulled pork seemed dry and we suspected a day old. The sausage was good and the best... More

Get ready to open Your wallet It's ALL Ala Carte.. Be prepared. .. For this amount of money, you could drive to Elgin and eat your less expensive, better tasting meal in air conditioning.

From the sidewalk awash in brilliant sunshine, open the screen door and step inside. A stories-tall ceiling with two cupolas floats above a dark room that vanishes in the distance. The sound of massive amounts of air moving submerges all other sounds. Mueller’s air is conditioned with movement, not refrigeration. As the line slowly moves forward past drink coolers on... More

This BBQ restaurant was one of the best I've had. Visited on a Saturday just after 12 noon. Was in line for an entire hour before being able to order our food. By that time I was definitely ready to enjoy what they offer. Wonderful brisket and sausage. Would visit again, for sure.

Earlier this week, I visited Taylor, TX for the first time to attend an ERCOT meeting and had the good fortune to stop at Louie Mueller's Barbecue for lunch. We arrived for lunch when they opened at 11:00 and beat the crowd. The brisket was offered "dry" or "moist". I ordered the moist and was not disappointed. The smoke flavor... More

One of the best Bar BQ restaurants I have ever been to. Get there early to avoid the crowd. We arrived at 11:15 AM and was in line for about 15 min. The employees were very polite and helpful. I had the pork ribs and a slice of brisket. Both were very tender and tasty I'll return soon
