We came for lunch & were again so pleased with our experience. You order Everything off a f a menu at the front counter, pay, take a buzzer & find yourself a comfortable sea. My favorites are the plush arm chairs that give the restaurant a real home like feeling! The restaurant has a very comfortable feeling. My son &... More

I have only been to Black Walnut for lunch and I have primarily had salads. The salad choices have been very good, it is one of my favorite places to go for a great salad lunch. Others in my lunch parties have had sandwiches and each time they have been very pleased. This is a walk up to the counter... More

After hearing that this place is always busy, we stopped in for lunch. It definitely didn't Wow me, but was ok. Most noticeable turn off were the many un-bussed tables. I would have liked to have taken any of them over the remaining choices, but they were to stay cluttered with the litter of previous diners for the rest of... More

Our family gathered at the restaurant for dinner. The menu had something for everyone. I had the Shrimp Alfredo and my wife ordered a toasted raviolis. The pasta dish was excellent. The raviolis were great--they had a bit of jalapeno in the center. The manager on duty (Elliot?) was gracious and accommodating. I couldn't decide which dessert to try. I... More

Met a friend for lunch at Black Walnut anf it was a wonderful experience! This was my first time in this restaurant and was surprised to see the extensive menu that included breakfasts all day. We had salads and they were fresh and plentiful. Will definitely go back!

I have experienced the Black Walnut only 2 times now. Once I ordered the largest and most delicious carrot cakes in the world for a holiday get together and it was super fantastic. This time I brought my wife over here for breakfast on my day off. Menu has a lot of variety. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it... More

This is a very nice restaurant in the middle of First Colony Mall. The food is great. I would not suggest you go there during heavy traffic holiday time. Parking is free however crowded.

It has a really nice atmosphere and everything looks great, but the food is just okay. It is in a great location, which is a plus. It is an ok bistro.

Have been at Black Walnut several times. Breakfast is always very good and there are plenty of options for the Gluten-Free. Black Walnut recently catered lunch for several days of a seminar and every meal was excellent. Their salads are fresh, crisp and delicious. We had grilled salmon & chicken one day and, as expected the salmon was perfectly cooked... More

We are never disappointed on our repeat visits to the Black Walnut. It has a wide menu choice, table alarms to pickup the freshly made food, and a wide range of drinks too. Plus Internet access.
