If you are looking for a good sandwich in pleasant surroundings, The Black Walnut Cafe is a good choice. The food was good and there were pages of items to decide on. It is a sort of "fast food" style restaurant in that you find your own seat and get your own drinks before picking up your order, but it... More

A good pick for brunch, with a nice patio...but expect to wait. On the weekend you can expect the line to order to wrap around the front of the restaurant.

We needed a nice place to meet for a family breakfast, before getting on the road to visit extended family. Sometimes you need a place to eat that is not so noisy before you start to drive for several hours. This restaurant is spacious effort so you don't have to hear every word of the conversation coming from the next... More

The Black Walnut is an eatery in dire need of expert help--it's the kind of place that people call Gordon Ramsey to try and rescue--only they haven't called him yet! This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences of my adult life, and we are fairly easy-going customers. The trouble starts from the point of entry--guests can cross three... More

This zagat approved gem has an amazing variety that will satisfy every appetite. From omelets any time of the day to pasta dishes to fish or lobster taco's. They also have a gelato bar and some of the most delicious baked desserts. No table service but it's worth a visit. Awesome lunch spot. Large wine selection.

Went to checkout Black Walnut Cafe today for a casual brunch. I was running errands and wanted to stop off for something hot and breakfasty. The vibe of this place is great. It's open, cozy and has interesting lights. I had coffee, a mimosa (cause wine not?) and the eggs benedict. Everything was priced decently, came out pretty quick and... More

This is my second time here and both times it was busy but there was no wait. It is one of those place where you wait in line, place your order, pay for it and they deliver the food to your table when it is ready. There are a lot of unique dishes based on food you are familiar with... More
