Had one of the best dinners ever. Fantastic salsa, seafood enchiladas, appetizer plate and churros. Great margaritas! Our server was pleasant and very attentive! Would certainly go back.

The decor and food is meant to be upscale. Only the decor hit the mark. I had seafood enchiladas and they were nothing special. The salsa for the chips lacked character while the beans and rice were satisfactory. It is much better to go to the basic Tex-Mex places for value and food taste. The service was good.

We have been to 2 Escalante's locations in Houston many times with excellent experiences each time. First visit to the Sugar Land location was a big disappointment. Not even comparable. There was only one occupied table when we arrived shortly after 5. One other couple came in while we were there. There was no bar business. We should have taken... More

Food is mediocre and drinks over priced probably due to the high rent of Town Center. No comparison to at least a dozen other better and cheaper Mexican restaurants within 2 miles. Tables idea guacamole was inedible.

We had a great time sitting at the outside bar and at an outside table another time. The variety of Margaritas is great; try them all. The food is also very good as well as the service. The setting in Town Center is very nice too.

We went to Escalante with family coming into town for a shower, so had a big table. First things first - margaritas! Those who ordered on the rocks, loved them. My sister and I had a swirl - a frozen margarita with Chambord raspberry. It was the best we have ever had - and my sister is a connoisseur. I... More
