Went in Saturday morning and thought the place was gorgeous inside. Unfortunately sitting closest to kitchen didn't help because after asking three times in a hour we only got one of the waffles ordered. After an hour and everyone eating and leaving while my wife...and I just drank coffee, we gave up. I chalked this up as a donation and will never set foot inside this place again. I know it's a not for profit, but kids running a place usually means disaster. Don't go here unless you only want coffee.More

Met a friend for coffee. Great service and warm environment. Not a cookie cutter setting. Texas friendly hospitality!

My wife and I went for breakfast and we really enjoyed it. We had breakfast tacos. I had coffee and my wife had a hot tea. The tacos were very tasty and very full. The setting is Texas country style. It appears to have been...a house with a a fireplace. It is right off 281 North and sits back far enough hidden behind beautiful Oak trees. There is plenty of seating inside and a nice size deck. They serve breakfast and lunch and prices are great.More

What a delightful little coffee shop! We only went to this establishment because a church we visited gave us a five dollar gift card, so we thought we should give it a try. The Loft is right off of Highway 281 and easy to miss...if you aren’t looking for it. The coffee shop/café is located inside an old frame house up on a hill, complete with wood floors, comfortable sitting areas, and a big deck outside. Several small groups have regular meetings here and there are plenty of outlets in which to plug in your laptop. We went expecting to have coffee and a pastry, but found when we got there that they also serve breakfast and lunch. The big glass case holds several types of pastries including scones, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. We ordered lunch and ate outside where there are several tables with umbrellas. There is also a playground for the kids. The Loft is operated by a local church as a non-profit ministry that gives back to the community and the world. Their hours are limited, so check before you go. As I was leaving, I decided that The Loft will be a great place to come back, have a cup of coffee and relax.More

love the new location but when went as a group of 11 and they werent really equipped for that size, even though we called in our order in advance. Each of us had to go wait in line to pay and pick up our food....that time could've been spent around the table visiting together. I love the fact that it is a Christian gathering place.More

we have visited the old location many times and enjoyed the Texas pecan-flavored coffee and the waffles and fresh fruit. Looking forward to making a visit to the new location farther north on US Hwy 281 near the Rodeo Drive intersection.
