Had a great dinner. Had the chicken fried steak. I signed up for the VIP club because it was birthday only to find out that you have to get a coupon via email to qualify. The ad is misleading when it states get a free...appetizer for signing up. Waitress would not honor that.More
Service was very good, food was great. Nice portion sizes and priced right. They are practicing social distancing well and sometimes be prepared to wait 15 to 20 mins for a table.
Late lunch on Saturday. There was no line. Pulled a Michelob Ultra from the ice. The cashier told us that they had it on tap so we chose that instead. Ordered fried catfish on one plate and shrimp and catfish on the other. The catfish...was very good. Wish the fish was a bit thicker. The mixed vegetables, brocalli and carrots were fresh and good. The sweet potato wedges were good but not many of them. It was $1,50 substitution charge. I did not expect skimpy portions. The salad was good. For a slack time, it took a long time for our waiter to appear. He was friendly. The food took quite a while to arrive. The girl divering the food just pushed the plates across the table. I guess she never heard of serving from the right. Our waiter did check back to see.if we needed anything. I requested lemons. I had to remind him 4 times before they finally arrived. When I paid the tab the waiter asked if I wanted tea to go. I said yes and he said he would be right back with it. After 10 long minutes we gave up and left.More
Decided on the Branch Grill because of convenience and good consistent food. The catfish and shrimp combo is one of our favorites. Hamburgers and salads are also a popular choice. Masks are required with seating spreadout. They serve beer, sodas and tea.
Don’t like having to order at counter like fast food but service was good food was good, I got ribs and baked potato. Prices good. Nice area. Outside seating was pleasant. Overall good experience.
Working in the yard and decided we needed to eat and cool off. Called and no waiting. Drive over and there were two families in front of us but it went quickli, you walk in and order your drinks then find a table and give...you waited you order that you wrote up when you ordered drinkd. Most tables are spaced 6 feet but not quite all. There is outside seating but kids area is still closed. Waited was great, he too order and brought food. He checked on us regularly to make sure our food and drug is were okay. Paid at the table and we were soon on our way.home. Had brioche shrimp and swapped or sides. 6 nice shrimp that were Spivey but not to spicey, we love bacon wrapped shrimp. Salads were fresh and dressing was very creamy. We will definitely be back.More

We met friends here who had not been here before to check it out after the dining room area reopened from the Covid close. It is a busy place but we were able to find parking in the front for an early dinner. They are...still doing curbside and carry out though. You order you meal at the front counter and then seat yourself and a waiter will come to the table and recheck your order and bring it to you. Very few people were wearing masks when they entered BUT all staff was wearing masks. The place was very busy but our waitress, Kim F. waited on us promptly and served us well during our visit and was very friendly. The crowd was mostly couples and small groups and spacing was provided with empty tables in between occupied ones. It does seem less restrictive than many places in San Antonio but still a very nice experience and good to see people trying to get back into some normal life. The food was excellent and we all ordered different items. The Ranger burger ($9.45) was delicious and the coconut shrimp ($8.95) was fired perfect and suited well with the marmalade sauce. They both came with skinny fries which were cooked perfect as well. The mixed green salad is large and looked fresh and will have to order that next visit. They have a Happy Hour from 1-5 with $1 off margaritas and wine and a small discount on beer but no appetizer specials. The 14 oz. margarita was $4.49 for HH and the House Roblar Chardonnay was $6 a glass for HH. The place is a rustic environment but clean and has many areas for seating including inside, outside covered patio and open patio and a large playground area for kiddos. We will definitely visit again when in the area since we do not live close.More
Friday afternoon, thought we would get there early at 5 pm but line was already out the door. We met another couple and all had very good food and portions are huge. We got a table in corner so we could talk as restaurant is...quite loud and out side patio is even louder.More
