I’ve been traveling to India

I’ve been traveling to India for over two decades and enjoy many unique dishes. This is the second or third time I’ve tried Minerva. The flavor is average and the protein portions are honestly smaller than any places I’ve enjoyed in rural Rajasthan. I don’t mind paying the price for great food. Unfortunately, Minerva just fails to deliver.

Visited this restaurant for lunch. The dining area appeared to have a seating capacity of about 50. The menu was very simple, with a number of lunch specials/combos (available on weekdays). The food was served quickly. The service was good.

Friday Night out

Upon entry, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table. The place is very open and airy. Once we ordered, they brought out this amazing bread. It paired well with our babahanoush appetizer. The babaganoush was creamy and mildly seasoned. It set the tone for the remainder of our meal. My moussaka was cooked to perfection. I liked the slightly caramelized eggplant skin on the bottom. To make it perfect, I would have liked more meat or less potato. My wife's Sultan's Delight was well seasoned. Each bite made you want to go back for more. We tried some of each type of Baklava. The pastry was light and flaky. And the baklava was not heavy. It melted in your mouth.

Great Indian food

We ordered Lamb Biryani, Rogen josh, butter chicken, garlic naan and lamb kababs and they all were outstanding. We ordered medium spice level and it was perfect. Highly recommend them. they have great service and they take their feedback seriously. I would definitely order again from this place.

Horrible customer service

During Covid-19 I called to place an order. The person who answered was super rude. I felt that he was rushing me through my order wasn’t answering my questions, acted annoyed that I had any. Ugh! Then to top it off I had a Groupon that I had already purchased but he said he wouldn’t take it because it was for dine in only. Well guess what? It’s Covid we can’t dine inside! Did he not get the memo? Lost my business.

Avoid - gone downhill since becoming Foodistaan

This place has really gone downhill since Foodistaan took over Minerva. The Baingan Bharta was ordered mild and was so spicy our guest could not eat it. The Saag Paneer was good. The vegetable Veg Biryani was really bad. Basically leftover rice with a bit of spice and some carrot chunks, no other identifiable veggies. We had problems with our other order (we placed two) and they basically acted as if we were a burden. The quality of the food has been poor the last two times we have ordered and the staff treats customers poorly.

Horrible Experience

Horrible experience. Service was painfully slow. Even though I ordered entrees as mild, food was so spicy it was inedible. Vegetable biryani was missing vegetables. Chicken tikka was ridiculously expensive for the amount of chicken. Even though my order receipt said naan came with entrees, they refused to give me naan and would only provide rice (and wanted to charge me even more for naan). This is bait and switch. I won’t be going back ever again.

Excellent Indian Food

I've ordered takeout from here many times. They are always consistent in the freshness and quality of there food. I have been to many Indian restaurants all over the country, I would place this in the top three. I have never had a bad experience here. I can't say that for most restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Surprise birthday extravaganza taken to the next level!

I cannot tell you what a joy and delight it was to host my friend’s surprise birthday party at Minerva Indian cuisine!!! The food was fresh, delicious with indescribable generosity!!! With fresh garlic Nan, yummy chicken Korma, homemade chicken tikka masala, shrimp biryani etc. our party of eight was served quickly and the customer service was attentive and spoiled us! They even surprised us by remembering thoughtful details of our party! We felt like we were welcomed as family!!!

Delicious food !

Food was very good and service is spot on. Menu has a large list for selection and has something which suits almost everyone. Restaurant is simple, staff were friendly and played Indian music in the background. If you love Indian food, must try this place.

Wouldn’t come back.

I’ve lost count how many Indian restaurants have been at this location. We’ve eaten at every one of them. The meal we just ate had to have been the worst. Butter chicken was okay. Palak paneer had to have been a frozen meal. Mushy, tasteless and didn’t contain any spices. And I bit down on a couple items and can’t identify what they were. The rice was plain white rice that really looked and tasted like Minute Rice. The garlic naan was flat and crispy, not fluffy homemade tender naan we’re used to. Maybe our expectations are high as we’ve eaten Indian food, our favorite food of all foods, all over the world, including India. But the vibe in the restaurant was off, phone ringing off the hook unanswered. Just a yucky dinner. Won’t be back.

Good for adventurous ladies who lunch

My social group went here for the lunch buffet, which had numerous choices. It appears what is on the buffet depends on the day of the week. So if you have a favorite, call to find out what day your favorite is served. Our group of 20 were happy with the food.

Good Indian buffet

It's a really good restaurant for lunch, they have a good Buffet, be careful though that it could be a bit spicy for people who is sensitive to spicy food, otherwise it's good, enjoy!

Great food...good price...very kind service. I love that this place is family owned...it felt very personal which my family and I like. The food tasted great! The servings were medium to large. Overall a wonderful experience! We will be back!!!
