The pizza is excellent with a wide range of toppings. They have weekly specials which makes it a reasonable place to go. Great wine selection, and on Wednesday nights buy a bottle of wine and get a free large pizza.

Coal Vines was early in the wood fired pizza category, I don't know if you'd call it the best, but it's amount the best. Again most pizza places are like or not based on your personal preference with what a pie should be. Sloppy...cheesy....thick...thin.. all are good differently. CV is as much a nice wine bar, bistro feeling small plate... More

Great food but my favorite is their pizza. They have weekly specials, holiday specials and happy hour specials. Fantastic wine selection!

Nice pizza and wine bar in Southlake town square. Dropped in a couple days before Xmas without reservations and ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a table - so make an appointment ahead of time (although I don't know if it is always this busy) They had quite a decent list of wine options as well as appetizers and... Coal Vines is one of our favorite pizza places. We normally go for their Wed special (Buy a bottle of wine, get a free pizza), but it's also a nice place to drop in to have a glass of wine and split a desert. Their non-pizza items are excellent as well; my wife loves their spinach salad. The staff is... More

We shared two large pizzas, both split in half so we got to try 4 pizzas. All we great but the special tonight, the Mediterranean was my favorite.

Been going to Coal Vine's for many years. The food and service are consistently great. Steer away from non-pizza items on the menu since they're not as outstanding as the pizza. Stick with what they're known for and do well and you won't be disappointed.

I took my family to Coal Vines last Friday night and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent as was the service. The new owner, Eric Faulkner, is an excellent host and he makes his customers feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

This has been a favorite for several years now. On Wednesdays, buy any bottle of wine and get your pizza FREE. It's busy those nights, but well worth it. Even on other nights, it's a beautiful place to enjoy a bottle of wine and delicious oven-baked pizza.
