We really enjoyed our meal here, and our server was great! On the deck, you can watch people trying out the Boogie Bahn, which is very entertaining. The staff was very friendly & attentive, and my husband said that was some of the best shrimp he has ever had!

Jenn_0635, Thank you for the five stars and kind words. All of our shrimp is purchased directly from local fishermen to guarantee the freshest, best tasting Gulf shrimp around.....hope you enjoyed the views of the beach and Gulf from our deck as much as the Boogie Bahn. See you soon and thanks again! Mike More

First time at the Shrimp Haus, not overly impressed with the food.Ordered the fried cat fish, more breading than fish. Not seasoned, extremely bland. My wife had the all you can eat shrimp, said the same thing about seasoning. We definitely won't be making a return visit.

Thank Peter D

Peter D, Thanks for visiting but sorry to hear that our award-winning all you can eat shrimp was not as flavorful or seasoned as much as you would have desired. I certainly hope you visit again and let us know you like "extra seasoning" since we do cook to order and would be happy to comply to your request. Thanks,... More

We visited because of all the shrimp options on the menu, but sadly didn't get to enjoy anything from the menu. We left before our server ever came to our table. We had sat there for quite a while. The manager checked on the two tables next to us but didn't acknowledge us. Another server stopped by to let us... More

Good food at good prices. All you can eat shrimp for 15.99. Salad bar is pretty good. The wine stinks.

Friendly hosts welcomed us and guided us into a big open room and on to a table next to a large window with a panoramic view of what I come to the island to see. Yet, once the food and drink (their special sangria!) arrived our attention was captured by the excellent presentation of what each of the four of... More

Patrice, Thanks for coming in and yes, we try to make sure we have all the bases covered when it comes to shrimp! If that doesn't "float your boat", one of our many pizza, burger, steak or sandwich dishes might...plus the Gulf views and large salad bar are always great too! We've previously been to the Sea Ranch and the physical design is appealing I love the view that some of the seating offers. We've been to the Sea Ranch before and the food was pretty good tonight however it was off. I had the Filet & Grilled Shrimp the wife had the Grilled Salmon, her meal was fair mine was... More

Food was good and served in a timely manner. However, I left feeling bad for the person who greeted us and served as our waiter. Although there were many empty tables he greeted us by informing us that they were at their "rush" time and getting lunch would "take a while." I interpreted this to mean that they were severely... We had lunch here the following day after we visited the water park. The green tea was good and my daughter ordered the coconut shrimp. The food and service here are exceptional and would go again. The salad bar was well stocked and everything was fresh.

Thank Moab4fun
Mike B, Manager at Shrimp Haus, responded to this review

Moab4fun, Thanks for stopping by and having lunch with us! Our coconut shrimp has won awards and the salad bar is one of the largest on the Island. We hope to see you again soon to try one of the other several dozen options of shrimp or one of chicken, steak, burger or sandwich options. Thanks again, Mike More

We stopped for lunch at the Shrimphaus which is attached to the Schlitterbahn waterpark. The saladbar was decent and coupled with shrimp gumbo or bisque was good. The view was mainly water park and less Gulfof Mexico. We were indoors on a humid Memorial weekend day. Immediately outside our window was outdoor seating with a little better view. Of some interest... More
