Food is just okay. Not bad but not great for the money they charge it should be better. With all the hype I read about I was expecting better

The frozen drinks are so good. So are the chicken nachos. I had them twice. The drinks are very pricey though but the are strong and good!! Great atmosphere.

The food is average, the drinks are great and the view of the beach is awesome. It's not a place to have conversation because the music is loud. It's a great place to catch the breeze from the ocean. If you are wanting to just sit and relax, be advised that you place your order at the counter and then... More

Spent two nights here (fri/sat) firework show both nights was excellent! Band was fantastic and me and my family loved dancing the night away! Drinks are upwards of $10 unless you get a small cup they are around $5. Ask bartender for double shots! Food is average, the shrimp cocktail was super good! The beef fajita nachos were also very... This is exactly what you think it is going to be--Huge and Fun! The views of the beach are fantastic, the drinks are a bit "commercial" but okay. The people, views and atmosphere make this a fun place to go.

Was there on a Sunday. Children all around, band playing and folks with their pets on leashes. Daytime it's very family, direct access to the beach. Live music was fun for my grandchildren ages 8 & 7. Open air tables as well as covered. No ash trays but you could smoke(we used a used cup with melted ice. The food... More

The biggest beach bar in Texas! And Texas does big!! Everyone is cheery. The music is great. the drinks were a little pricey, like Chicago prices but I'm used to it. I enjoyed myself. they seemed to have appetizing foods but I didn't order nor look at the menu. Surprisingly a place for families too.

Clayton's has a great location - we took advantage of the free nachos & cheese (look for a coupon in the book from the visitor center) and the 'buck beer'. However when the spring breakers came I didn't go. Someone in our party went and took a couple pictures during the peak beach time for the breakers. I enjoyed sitting... More

Good beer and nice scenery but is suited for college age not seniors. Beer was cold but they left a lot of trash on a beautiful beach.
