We chose Pier 19 for our final night out at spi and I'm glad we did. I ordered the small sampler plate, blackened, which included fish, shrimp and scallops and 2 veggies, it was fantastic, the scallops some of the best I've had. My husband enjoyed the fried fish/shrimp basket and my daughter/seafood hater had a cheeseburger that she said... More

This is my first time at South Padre. My sister and I are celebrating our 24th birthday and we wanted to have seafood that was reasonably priced. This place was awesome. We ate dinner around 8pm and we didn't have trouble with getting a table for 5 people. We even asked for the patio! The people here were friendly and... More

Wife and I ate here on a fairly busy Friday night. We won't be back but understand the allure that the location, long peir, and Friday night view of the fireworks that Peir 19 holds for first time visitors. Our experience from the beginning of the evening stunk (literally the entire area in and around the restaurant stinks of decaying... More

My family visited this restaurant the last night of our stay in SPI and we were not disappointed! We arrived at around 8:30PM and had a short wait (20 mins) for a party of 5, but there was a small gift shop to browse around in and lots of photo ops around the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp Diablo &... More

We had great service, didn't have to wait for food, and food was awesome too. Can't forget the drinks, super yummy! Our server Mike is a great person and fun personality! We will be back. The pirate ship stopping by after dinner was great for the kids too!

If you are looking for a different take on shrimp... try the spicy and sweet Diablo. Mahi po boy tastes great and fills big appetites.

The food is very good (Shrimp Diablo!) and the kids can expend some energy on the pier while looking for the pirate ship. Enjoy drinks in the bar while you wait for a table. Best to go 5:00ish for a short, if any, wait. Later on the line gets long!

Food was great. Service was awesome. Everyone was attentive to your needs. Best food on the island. Close to the pier and good views. You can eat in the cool inside or outside.
